Lol i just found out this hilarious trick: when you make a twin-tail trailer from a worm, most of the time you melt a wedge of plastic after cutting the tails. but you apparently can just take some needle-noses and squish open the opening, you don't even need to cut... the squish compacts the plastic into where the tip of the pliers were, wedging the tail open. U GOT TO TRY THIS MAN!!! 1.take a small soft worm, cut off the tail. 2.squeeze on the pliers where you want the part. 3.put it on a jig or spinnerbait. VOILA!
  2. U know what i just noticed? u look a lot like shaw grisby. LOLZ
  3. those too. i still get a kick out of the sexy shad commercial tho. ;D there only effective cuz there new, and lots of bass havent seen the newer stuff. im sure that the shakey head idea has been around for a REALLY long time, its just a jig head with a plastic worm, but tackle companies just specialize it and then making a huge fuss over it, not to mention getting lots of pros to endorse that kind of newish thing.
  4. Have you ever noticed that whenever a new lure hits the market its success skyrockets and you know that the only reason its better than classic lures is because its new. if you go to the bass pro shops site and search soft plastics, every other product is some form of shakey worm? or type in jig and have all the jigs being swim-jigs? its so annoying because you cant get any straight info on how something works. :'(
  5. North TX!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Shad(all species), yellow perch, sunfish
