went to sangchris again today the water dropped almost 10 degrees from last week..... it was in the upper 50's to low 60's last week today it was 48-51..... started great caught the first fish in 10 minutes then another 15 or so minutes later! then didnt catch crap for hours......... right before sunset they turned on though and got 8 in less than 30 minuts or so! biggest fish was about 16" so nothing to write home about.... my buddy did catch a turtle though lol!!

going to sangchris tuesday for sure! i got bass fever man im sick of this crap weather. wheres global warming when you need it??

have not heard anything on powerton yet...?? the day i went it was just too d**n windy period...... i may get out again soon i am heading to sangchris tuesday again though!!

well it sucked lol the wind was gusting 30mph and we didn't catch squat......... however i did go to sangchris yesterday and got into some largemouth!!

im taking an extended lunch tomorrow and going to wet my line for a couple hours and check out my new electronics!!

WOW THIS SUCKS!!! im stuck at work today and it is opening day for powerton just drove by and there are a dozen or so boats out there.. i think i am going to be sick tomorrow lol!!

a little secret interstate makes optima i have had great sucess with interstate also sears brand forgot the name....

there are much better hb shots out there! lowrance does have a better shot in my opinion BUT the comparison above was unfair bottom line. i own a HB for 2 simple reasons reliability and service! lowrance is a joke on the service end of things bottom line. i weighed my options many times and pulled the trigger on a 997c si HB! i will get some shots here in a week or two when the cooling lake by me opens up to boats! to me reputation of service swayed me to the HB side. also the down imaging is new to the HB. i wouldnt doubt in a future update or new ducer that it improves night and day. also the whole suing lowrance thing might put an end to lowrance or even the playing field on the pic quality!

got my new electronics installed yesterday (humminbird 997c si) can't wait to test out the side imaging....... less than a week away before the boat sees the light of day!!

That darn HP restriction..... powerton has no hp limit... what do you mean??

powerton will be my first boat trip in illinois!! less than 2 weeks!! my first big trip of the year is guntersville in march

shore fishing is open now! feb. 15th opens boat traffic! gives me a month to get my ducks in a row for my guntersville trip in march!

names josh been fishing since i could walk! looks like a great board so far! mainly a bass fisher here. dabble a bit in hardwater and spring/fall crappies also.

god fishing fever is getting to me!! just ordered a new sonar/gps/side imaging unit for my boat (humminbird 997si)!! hopefully have it hooked up this weekend and testing it on powerton in 2 weeks!! counting down the days till i go to guntersville march 24th!!!!!!!!!!
