  1. wow! that is disturbing to say the least
  2. My home lake, Parsley's Mill, may not be as epic as those above but she sure was purty to me... RIP 1827-2004
  3. Yup, they are awesome 'heads. And usually stick to the basic black, blues, browns, and greens but that PB&J is deadly around here

  5. hahaha, thanks for the suggestion but that aint what I'm into And sam, i would be feeling quite the opposite right now
  6. decided to sit down and whip up a few more for the river. They're all 1/4oz except for the top right one, and the bottom 2 are my world famous pamunkey river special close-up
  7. oh no, trust me, she knew exactly what was in my mind We might not have been "goin out" but we might as well have been, lol. muddy, LBH, that's true wisdom right there. And thanks to all you guys fer helpin me out.
  8. haha oh no... Lately it seems as though every time I start getting close to a girl and we start talking "something" happens...For example, the girl I'd been talking to for about 3 months recently decided to blow me off several times to be with someone else. And she aint the first one to do this...Probably sounds stupid since I'm only 16, but I had really high hopes towards her.
  9. haha I wish it got that far...
  10. I'm so sick of being used and taken advantage of, and then just thrown aside like I never even ******* existed...sick of being written off, sick of being blown off, sick of waiting, and so very sick of feeling like I was stabbed in the back time and time again...and every time i get my hopes up and start to believe the things they say, something "comes up" and they just shoot it all down, like I never even mattered, like all the things that were said and did don't mean a thing... sorry about this guys, I won't bore you with the circumstances, I just really needed a place to get this out...
  11. For really heavy cover I'll go with 40lb Stren Super Braid. Everything else, 15-20lb Seaguar InvizX fluorocarbon.
  12. wow...mattm was dead on, what a bunch of ....
  13. Nice catchin dude, was that at Osborne?
  14. ha awesome spot there russ, but uh what the hell was that thing you were hidin it under? haha :-? ;D
  15. Greentop is king around here, this place the most awesome selection of hard to find, oddball stuff and the old standby's. Also an excellent gun selection. There are a couple other small places too, like Surfside, Pope's, Cole's...
  16. 1. PB&J 2. black/blue 3. black/blue/purple flash 4. green pumpkin pepper 5. green pumpkin candy Most of em tied by me
  17. I got a chance to speak with John Crews again today and we got on the topic of his new flat-sided shallow crank he designed for Spro called the little John. So of course I had to go out and buy one, and man this thing looks like one helluva fish catchin mahine! It's the perfect size and profile for the water I fish and I cannot wait to tear up some Pamunkey river bass with it. Anybody else tried this new bait yet? http://www.spro.com/products/product_info.php?products_id=112
  18. I also saw the fish on display in a cooler at the expo, and man that thing is a beast!
  19. I'm really psyched about the upcoming gobbler season. I've been doin some scouting and made a few blinds in some key areas that have been loaded with turkey and deer lately...Now I just gotta keep the ole trigger finger at bay til the season starts Any other turkey hunters on here?
  20. Shakespeare, Storm, Abu, Fenwick, Vanish, Matzuo, Eagle Claw. They all make my list... Also, Booyah jigs are absolutely terrible IMO, pretty much anything made by Strike King, and there's a select few products I will buy from Berkley but other than those they're mostly garbage too IMO ...oh and anything that says "endorsed by Bill Dance" or "Roland Martin" I won't touch with my 8ft. flippin stick.
  21. Bandits are my top producing cranks all throughout the year, especially the 100 series in chart. shad them things are deadly. so stock up!!!
  22. Oh yeh, I was just up there last night to get some jigheads for tying and I stocked up on War Eagle jigs and spinnerbaits. Now I just gotta find some more money to spend.
  23. I've fished the pasture a couple times in winter and have figured that its really not worth it. Due to the high, cold water you are pretty much limited to the bank, so you can forget about reaching any of the deeper holes and pockets. Also, for some reason the fish seem to just turn off when the water gets cold. I have been out there 4 or 5 times in the cold and have yet to get a single bite from anything when the water temp is down. Which is very strange because in many of the rivers I fish the fishing is actually better this time of year than any other time.
  24. Sounds like a plan to me I'll have to give you a few of the jigs I've been tying, the fish on the Pamunkey just can't resist em, and I have yet to really try them anywhere else.
