Anyone knows how the bass fishing is this time of year out Little Creek Reservoir? Looking to try my luck this Saturday, wondering what's the lastest fishing report.

Thanks for the info, Little creek looks like the choice for this weekend, however Diascund presents a lot more of a challenge.

Thanks, I have a jon boat, battery and trolling motor. I've heard that they rent batteries there, I was unsure if it was any truth to that. Little Creek sounds like where I'll be heading to this weekend. I need a change up from the James.

Anyone on here tell which location has the better bass fishing this time year, Diascund Reservoir or Little Creek? I want to try a new location this Saturday, and I'm undecided on which location to head out to. Both locations appear to be promising. Secondly, what would you recommend using?

@Micro: How is the bass fishing in little creek reservoir, how would you rate it overall? I've been thinking of trying some bass fishing there this weekend, and more then likely that's where I'm going this Saturday. Do they still rent additional batteries?

Last time I was there it was $35 for jon boat and motor; trolling motor was additional $15. They usually work out a deal with you if the volume if not heavy. May see you out there, trying my luck there this Saturday. Good luck!

Ok, I was down behind Snag-a-job building, then I eventually came down by the fountain, but on the Exxon side of the lake.

I think I remember seeing you across the water, you were on the pavilion side. I was across the lake, with purple shirt and tan khaki shorts.

@s13john: there are a few aquatic plants surrounding the pond that hold size bass on a good day.

Not to productive on lake rooty this evening, it seem most of the fish was holding in deeper water. There was patches of algae in certain areas; that wasn't there last week. The heat played a major factor too; try again another day.

Not there' but I'll take one out this evening and see what it produces.

Primarily I use a chartreuse/white spinner with tandem blades; preferably a copper willow blades. Or a senko rigged wacky style or texas.

I've been out to Lake Rooty in Innsbrook last Sunday and Monday. It's the one located on the corner of Cox and Nuckols. I caught a nice limit of LMB; most being around 3+lbs. I focused on the aquactic plants in the pond. I planned to go back out this evening and Sunday morning.

Are you able to put in a small boat? If so, where at? I'm familiar with the area, I frequently fish swift creek lake.
