  1. Great, I'll be on the blue/silver SeaNymh, trolling everything from the rear. See you out there.
  2. Same here, everyday this booked with something. Taking the day off to go tomorrow. Just hopefully the lot is not full.
  3. Looking as though the rain showers are not coming until late in the afternoon. If we get there early enough, we'll be on the road when it's expected to start. News says only light showers, either way, I'm going. Loading the vechicle tonight!
  4. Now the weather forecast is looking like showers on Friday afternoon. Considering venturing out on Saturday. May still go Friday, if weather stays light rain.
  5. @Joe D: Thanks for the insight. If everything goes to planned, I'll be there before sunrise. @Aluma-Bass: Hopefully I'll see you out there. Everything is legit. My motor is only 8hps, I'm excited I can bring it...save some battery power. I heard about Briery before I heard about Sandy. That too is on the bucket list for the year.
  6. 1. 1/4 Shaky Head Zoom Trick worm (Motor oil Char. tail) 2. Redeye Shad Craw Color 3. 3/8 SK Spinnerbait Wh/Char
  7. @Aluma-Bass: Thanks for the info. Didn't think many people on here would share some pointers on water producing trophy bass. Thank! I'm looking forward to my first fishing trip there, hopefully Friday is not crowded on the water. Is the lower end to the right or left of the ramp? Should I be weary of stumps in most of water? I plan to use gas motor to get around. And how early can you launch?
  8. Anyone on here have any suggestions on how to approach Sandy River? First trip out this weekend, so I'm looking at least some direction.
  9. Whats the forecast for Saturday? I love it out Pocahontas, the scencery is uncomparable.
  10. Sounds like the bite is good. You used a spinnerbait the entire time?
  11. Let us know how the bite went. Ready for some topwater action.
  12. Planned to fish Charles City Co, run it by my fishing buddy and see if he wants to change location. What time Saturday?
  13. No livewell for me. Just a naked jon boat...lol!
  14. Someone say a tourny?
  15. I'll be getting out there soon, this would the be earliest I've fished there. Usually, I fish the summer months in the morning.
  16. How's the bite out Pocohontas this time of the year?
  17. I heard the same, high percentage of bad weather all day Saturday. Could we reconsider scheduling for next weekend, April 23rd, Easter weekend? Same place.
  18. Are we still on for this Saturday, April 16th, or what?
  19. I'm good for Sandy River on 16th! Let's go!
  20. Ok,what's up with site? I'm good for the 16th, or whenever.
  21. That's what we did last weekend, got skunked at the upper lake so we pulled out and went to the lower lake. I wouldn't mind lighting a grill in between fishing both lakes.
  22. @reelcrazy: s13john's fish was definitely heavier, we weighed it on both our scales. The picture is misleading. And both lakes are catch and release only. I'm down for a grillin'!
  23. I used to look like a strong safety...subtract 10 years from now, and additional 60lbs. April 9th??????
  24. I game to go back in a few weeks. Ready to by more jigs, plus I have some top water lures I want to try.
  25. s13john fish took the prize! Can't wait to make it back out there.
