  1. That sounds good Tate I know right where that is. 5:45 I'll be there. Do you have a spare vest? I don't have one. Anybody need me to bring anything else? I don't want to show up empty handed so maybe some pasta salad and some chips or whatever?
  2. Great story. Dogs are such amazing animals. I truly feel sorry for anyone who's never had the joy of dogs in their life.
  3. I'll come play again if someone has an open seat
  4. Cool. Toad has not been as kind to me. Thought you had a jon?
  5. What about the Nip in Bridgewater? I've heard through the grapevine the fishing's been getting better there. Good ramp and parking, right off 495, and doesn't usually get crazy jammed with boaters. This has nothing to do with the fact its a mile from my house bwahahah
  6. from the mass.gov site. and I have a camera I can bring
  7. I'm all for trying that lake but my only concern is how busy it will be on the cape this time of year, mostly non fishers too...but the location does work for everybody. Either way I'm there no matter how early.
  8. Don't let the suicidal trout bring you down! Seriously though it could have been me instead getting shut out. I just happened to run into one little guy, and maybe 10 minutes before we were finished at that. A wise man once told me it's not always about the fishing...
  9. Had a good time today gentlemen, even though I only boated one bass it was a nice relaxing day on the water. Thanks again to the Rhino for letting me tag along. Great to meet you guys and hope this was the first of many.
  10. Small world or big forums, one of the 2
  11. Gonna be a hot one fellas. Forecast for over 90. Drink lots of water!
  12. The Rox are not AA affiliates of the Red Sox. They are independent/unaffiliated with MLB. Can-Am league to be exact. Still a great affordable place to see a ball game we go a lot.
  13. Yea that would be akward! Thanks for the welcome Thats sounds great, it's a long ride alone! I'm in West Bridgewater. on rt24 its 2 exits past 24/495. I'm sure I could find a place to leave my car somewhere close to the 24/495 interchange. Can't wait for this. I'll PM you my #
  14. ^^ I was gonna say, I use pretty much every type of plastic I own on them. My favorite is rage craws on shakys this time of the year. Beats T rigging with a pegged bullet and with the baitholders(esp the screw kind) you cant go wrong
  15. 90's and muggy here in Mass. Gross
  16. I'm new to the forum still, but I'd love to get in on this. Unfortunately I am a non boater, but of course can provide gas, food, or other goodies to pass the time. No hard feelings if I cant get a seat but I've never fished there and it would be a great time to learn something new
  17. Winni is overwhelmingly huge if you don't know the lake, and Moltonborough is almost like a whole lake on its own. I'm sure you'll have zero problem finding a great spot nearby. Bring your map! and gps
  18. Well of course the weather was awful most of the time we were there. Waves on the lake were cresting from the wind. Saturday it calmed down but was still very overcast, and we got some fishing in, and Sunday was nice but we had to leave early so we were only out from 6-10. We only managed 3 or 4 fish per person but we all had at least one 4# plus. I recommend Squam you could fish it for a week and not see everything, and is MUCH quieter than Winni. Seems like hundreds of coves and points, rocks, etc. here's a couple pics, first 2 are me last is my buddy
  19. yea looks like the type of place you gotta be extra careful. I read somewhere there's a tournament on Squam 6/25. might be a good time to take some notes
  20. Were going to be fishing Squam for 3 days the last week of June as a little getaway from the city. My first time there. Anybody have knowledge of that lake? Any tidbits you could pass on? It's pretty big but we have a boat so anywhere on the lake is good. Wouldn't mind targeting some smallies while I'm there. Thanks
  21. -back entrance to Braintree high there's a piece of sunset lake you can fish from shore, jams up with weeds later on but now it will be open. -West St in Braintree- from Granite St go down near the industrial parks and on the left is a little dirt road there's water in there its ok -Bolivar St in Canton there's a piece of Forge Pond you can fish from shore -look for the stone wall Can't give em all away but that's a couple good after work spots in that area. Wahoo my first post!
