  1. Me too.
  2. May be I'm very ignorant but is there any way that one can beat the Quantum PTi-A?. There is no one in the marquet that offer better features or better warranty....life time on the bail!!!!! no jappy can match that. I have 6 of them and a Catalyst and they are impecable. Can you say Shinmalo ? ;D
  3. Impressive rods Wonder about warranty, they don't metion anything in the site. :-/
  4. I'm not a fan of soft plastics in general at this temp. except the Big and Fat Ikas. I use most of the time reaction lures when it gets cold.
  5. Thanks a lot guys. The link is working now Dan

My go-to, specially in murky waters, are the Bush Hog and double wider beaver. In clear waters I rather use the Netbait action cat as a finesses type. I thing that GYCB Floppin Hog is a winner in this cathegory when it get back in the marquet. I never use the Kreatures other than as a jig trailer. For me Ikas come # 1 before creatures at any time.
  7. . Raul I know I'm becoming a pain in the neck and I feel sorry for myself :-[ but man I can't find any thing that says eve close to CU 100B in that product list :'( My appology but please clarify it. Thanks
  8. Here is some info. Dan Dan this link doesn't open for me
  9. X-Rap # 8 in Hot Steel and White ( the latest great for Sea Trout and Mackarel too ). DT 6 in different colors
  10. For sure you will not have problems finding clients in NJ
  11. Smoothies Just look for CU100B washers, they are the same size for the Scorpion. Sorry Raul but I could not find any thing like that. :-[ and I'm very interested. Could you plaese be a bit more specific?
  12. Are you planning to do it professionaly ?
  13. Like he says. The Revo is work horse, 24 lbs max. drag weight, 11 bb.....and you don't have to take the reel apart when you need to change your cast control settings.
  14. What the heck I just ordered. Yeap 31 ipt and 13 lbs of drag.
  15. Raul, Do they make them compatible for an Scorpion 1000 ?. Where can I find them? Thanks a lot.
  16. Last weekend my IMX MBR 844 tip guide lost the inner ceramic ring. I've never done any kind of repair in any rod so I was feeling very overwhelm since I want it to come out right. Following Flechero's advice I called the company, they delivered the matching part overnight mail, no charge. That is service. With a kit from ReelMech and the instructions from his web site I have the rod back and operational by tuesday night. Thanks everyone involved.
  17. I do the same with a P-line Fluoro or CX 15-20 lbs. I just don't like braid with treble hooks.
  18. It is on the plannig ;D
  19. Long time ago I fall to the Curado anachronism. My last one is still visible througth the hole in the garage wall. Since then I considere Shimano USA a dinousaure in reel development. The Revo, depends of models, carry the heavier drag it the marquet ( about 24 lbs ) and one of the faster retrieve ( 31 ipc ) Their weigh being also very competitive. No one Jappy reel had ever offer this. And you can change your cast control settings just with a touch of your fingers.....something to think about
  20. Good point ;D ;D ;D I don't have one yet ....but is coming Perfect frog reel 8-)
  21. This is a dream rod for any jig or med. soft plastic ( Ikas ). Any better is call GLX, how much better, ....I did not know until I fished with one......indescribable!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Like Alpster and Raul said, if you have to choose get a good rod first.
  23. A piece of advice which I learned in the hard way.....seal your cork handle.!!!!!
