  1. I use them often, but if the water has lots of water plants you will get it stuck on the snap more easily than just tying on direct. Swivel doesnt seem to do this by itself.
  2. Ive found when it gets tough there that drop shotting a Zoom green 4" or 7" worm works very well. On a boat look for humps n troughs to find the fish. The normal spots are now above water for me. Anyone been lately? Can you launch a boat now?
  3. for a used item an Ocean Kayak Drifter is a wide platform that is hard to roll over. They can be found under $400.
  4. I use a ML with 10 or 15 lb braid and bend the hook to the side a little as well.
  5. I have found using a light wire hook works best to punch thru and get a hook set. I let the fish bite 3 times or so and then take up the slack and lifting the rod with a moderate hook set. No hard swing for hook set with the lighter wire.
  6. well........dont forget Los Banos Creek resv as well. It is a fine producer of under 10lb fish. I caught a 6+ and 7 even in Hensley this year..... Oh yeah, dont come here the fishing does suck, stay home.............
  7. caught a 6.2 last week in one of the local lakes, a 20lb'r was caught in same area this year
  8. no bass there that i know of, its a trout lake, too high on the elevation for bass
  9. yep, the light is self contained and slips into one of the rod holders, add a lite on your head to see with and you are set
  10. For the heat shrink I found it real cheap at Harbor Freight, comes in a roll of 50' for under $10. I used to loose a Senko every fish or two, now it will last for several fish.
  11. under the top cover there is a gear or pulley with a set screw, maybe it is loose. There is also a tension type screw under the foot pedal.
