Here's a few I get when I go to Florida and wear my KSTATE....clothes "Do you have a dog named toto? -.- "Can you REALLY see forever?" "Have you seen the wizzard of oz?" "How scary is it to be in a tornado?" I know it sounds silly..but they REALLY do ask this stuff d**n the Wizard of Oz questions!!!!!!! If I hear "You're not in Kansas anymore" one more time while I am out of town I used to have a roomate from Calgary. One time a bunch of his buddies came down to visit him, except one. His reason .... he is afraid of tornadoes. And he was serious. I've lived here for 25 years and I have seen 1 tornado. :-? National Lampoon's Vacation doesn't show us in a good way either.

If you only knew. I know when I go out out town and tell people I am from Kansas they always get that "look". I saw the IMAX 3D version of Beowulf last night. UNREAL!!!!!!!!! If you have a theater in your area that is showing the 3D, it's a must see. I don't know if it was the movie was good or I was enjoying the 3D, but it's one of the most enjoyable movies I have seen in a while. I didn't even know that sort of thing was possible. You can really get a sense of where movies are going in the future.

Yes. That is why everybody outside of Ohio and Louisiana have a bad taste in their mouth about the NC game (see the graphic on ESPN). OSU had their chance to control their destiny earlier this season. They blew it .... and are now getting a second chance. LSU had two chances earlier this season and blew it. Now getting their third chance. Neither team is there because they took care of business. They are there because other teams didn't WVU .... blew it Mizzou ... blew it KU .... blew it The "system" sucks. The whole thing. Now with this flawed "system" .... I think the right teams are there under the circumstances. Am I excited about it ? ........ NOPE

....... and don't hate on Kansas. Hate the system ;D ;D I don't have to like Mizzou, but they have a major gripe. The only way I can see KU getting a BCS Bowl over Mizzou was if it was in the Fiesta playing OU. I don't like the whole bowl allegiance thing either. Would it be that hard to take the top 10 ....... 1v2 in the NC, and then for the sake of good games (in other words if a playoff is not in place) 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, 7 vs 8, 9 vs 10. Take the whole selection process and 2 teams per conference away. If that process would put two teams in same conference playing one another, then tweak it. Just take the top 10 regardless of who it is and make 5 games as competitive (by the numbers) as possible.

Who Cares vs. Who Cares BCS is total CRAP this year. I don't think there is one hands down "deserving" team to play in THE game ..... let alone two.

I am REALLY excited to see this fight. Two completely different styles. I think Hatton has to get him early. If it goes into later rounds then I think Mayweather will have the advantage Can't wait!!!!!!! Also, I think HBO does a real nice job with their program "24/7"

I don't know if the whole fish is good eating or not, but I know they are known for their caviar (eggs). I believe their caviar can fetch as much as $20 per oz. They are pretty highly regulated and their are only certain times of the year you are even allowed to be fishing for them (purposely) .... ie snagging.

No kidding!!!!!! I am not really a Pats fan, but am I fan of them going for an undefeated season. I am flipping back and forth between the KU B-Ball game (getting a little worried about that). Can't believe the score at this point in the game, especially after the start ....... well the Pats just scored a TD and are back on top

I was at the game. The second half was more like I expected the game to go. ie ... Both teams trading scores and whoever was held to field goals would most likely lose. I do realize that Mizzou probably lost a little of the urgency to score, but the second half KU offense was more like what I was used to seeing. But last time I checked the rules, you have to play 4 quarters ..... so we lose. I DVR'ed the game, but from the stands it looked like we were a little tentative on both sides of the ball for much of the first and second quarters. Mizzou clearly has a VERY good team. Congrats to the Mizzou people here at BR Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!!!! and BOOMER SOONER!!! Even if a Mizzou win would help KU get to a BCS game. I can't imagine giving some of the classless Mizzou people I was sitting next to the satisfaction. My hatred for Mizzou has never been stronger.

That's cool. My best friend has an uncle that looks exactly like him. Back when he used to be kind of big, he definitely played that up when ever he had the chance.

It has for me for sure. I only fish about 3 lakes now regularly. Before gas got ridiculous I drove all over the place.

I have the honor of getting up at 4 am and smoking it. Last year was the first time I tried that. Best turkey I have ever had. Haven't had fried yet though.
