  1. Amazing turn of events!!!!!!!!
  2. I thought the same thing. Not only were they not good, they didn't have the voices for it. It seemed liked they were getting completely drowned out by the crowd noise.
  3. Ditto .... most of game two was boring, but the last 5 minutes or so was good

Glad to hear you're OK man!!!!!!!
  6. I get that feeling as well whenever I am somewhere and tell people I am from Kansas. I can just see the wheels turning in their head, picturing what my life must be like back home. I mean ..... I ride my horse to work just like everyone else : Now I admit, the tourist attractions are few in far between, but I have never been any place else in the country I would even consider living. I love where I live .... just like everybody else I am sure. Check out this list last year. It just so happens where I live is #6 on the "Best Places to Live" http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2006/ As Dorothy says .... "There's no place like home" : ;D
  7. So is he actually playing?? I thought he would need to red shirt a year to put some weight on. As I recall he was only a few lbs over 200?? Pretty small for big time college program??
  8. Brandenburgh or Lawrence? Lawrence .... he didn't even play LB in high school. He played QB and safety I believe He comes from a pretty talented family. I believe his brother is the 3rd string QB at KU. Probably the reason he is at Nebraska or he would be a Jayhawk :'(. Their was an article in the paper here last year about the brothers. How they always went to KU games when they were younger had dreams of playing together there. Even though Blake is a whole lot better, I think he was getting sick of always living in his older brother's shadow. He should be a JAYHAWK!!!!!! :'( ;D I doubt his brother ever sees the field at KU.
  9. One of them went to my old high school
  10. And we're off!!!!!!! What a day. At the last minute we decided to head up to Lwarence to at least tailgate for the game. Got there, saw a bunch of old friends, had a great time, and found some tickets to go to the game. The Jayhawks looked pretty good and pretty much had the game wrapped up by half. A 52-7 win. Another plus!!! We decided to leave at half time to get home in time to watch the end of the K-State/Auburn game. It's just good to watch games that actually mean something again. Those NFL preason games were really wearing on me
  11. YES!!!!!! College Football is the only sport that the "post season" is so anti-climatic. I mean, unless you are playing in the big one, if you win ...... who cares. For me, I get much more enjoyment watching the runs for the conference championships. Games mean more. And that's not right.
  12. Coming from a guy that HATES the dentist ...... Honestly getting a cabvity filled ain't that bad. I would much rather get a cavity filled than my teeth cleaned
  13. It wouldn't break my heart if he didn't step foot on an NFL field again
  14. I agree. Football is football. Whooohoo Me too
  15. Her answer was VERY DUMB, but that question was ridiculous. I don't even know how I would answer it, and I have had some time to think about it :
  16. The key is KEEPING UP. Don't slack off or fall behind unless you like staying up all night maybe 2-3 nights to learn all the stuff you should have been doing all semester. I mean, I have never done this, but a friend of mine has ....... : :)
  17. Well File Mob, I am officially going to kick your ........ (in fantasy football of course)
  18. Thanks bassmasta7 will get have to get some of the credit for my championship this year.
  19. I have a friend from Canada that plays golf at the University of Missouri Kansas City. His freshman year he wanted to stay in the dorms, but the coach made arrangements for him and another teammate (from South Africa) to stay at a house that he rented out for them. It just so happened to be in about one of the worst areas in Kansas City. Just picture that for a second. Two foreign white kids, both from fairly well off backgrounds, both golfers, both had never been to the U.S., thrown into the ghetto of Kansas City. :-? And probably the worst thing about it is, he is one of those people that doesn't know a stranger. Way too trustful of people in today's world. He found that out very quickly :
  20. I didn't realize the draft was tomorrow. I have some plans tomorrow afternoon and I am not sure what time I will get home. If I don't make it to the draft, will they(ESPN) auto-draft a team for me based on my player list? Also, if any of you would be willing to draft for me (off of my player list) that would be great too. That way you could make some posistional decisions for me as well ...... I don't need 20 WR's : PM me and I can give you my info
  21. I heard this one a long time ago, but I still think it's great. I have jokingly used it. Still waiting to bring it out for real ;D ;D It also could get you slapped initially, but ........ Go up to a woman and check the tag of her shirt. (If you don't slapped move on) And then say "Ahhhhhh. Just as I suspected. Made in heaven"
  22. I like the bang for your buck of projections. And they way they are today, they are darn near as slim as LCDs And for my taste, Plasma TV's are too bright, but some people like that. Also consider the room your going to put it in. If it gets a lot of sunlight, I think I read that Plasma is better than a projection (I know my projection can be difficult to see in the daytime)
  23. Sorry, I have been busy the last week or so. I will do that now. Let the beatings begin
