  2. There was a problem with the link last night .... fixed now
  3. I'll let you know how it goes ..............
  4. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!! Through the good times, the bad times and ugly. Last couple years we were just shy of being a good team. A few plays here and there and we could have competed for the Big 12 North. This year we will be lucky to make a bowl I think. I am also a fan of good non-BCS schools. I had been watching Boise State for the past 5 years or so and it was no suprise to me what they did to Oklahoma last year. In general though .... I am sooooooooooooo ready for football to start. I have tried to get into the AFL, but just can't do it.
  5. Unfortunately they are everywhere. :-/
  6. That gator pic is crazy. Awesome!!!!!!
  7. Yes, it's best if you just click on it, minimize, go about doing your business and then go back and watch it 10-15 minutes later. That YouTube version really cut down the quality. Wayyy too much for me. The song is Boston - Foreplay/Long Time Thanks everyone. And roadwarrior, that does have a nice ring to it doesn't it. ;D
  8. Well kind of. : My original plan was to have this video done by the middle of April, but getting GOOD footage was hard going this spring. There were days this spring where I had really good days as far as numbers went on prespawners. Unfortunately most of those days I was flying solo and it was way too windy to set up the tripod. I am a bit cautious now after what happened last year. > Then there were days when I had my main fishing buddy with me (seen a few times in the video) and caught plenty of bass on camera only to come home to see that the footage SUCKS. My buddy has to be the World's Worst Cameraman. Half the time the camera is pointed at God knows what and when he finally does get the subject in the camera he gets zoom happy. Zooming in and out and in and out and in and out. Looks like crap. Oh and then there were a few where you see him pick up the camera and start shooting good, screen goes black (turns the REC off) and then see him putting the camera away (REC on). :-/ I was waiting to get some more footage to put along with it, but I am having a hell of a time getting out this summer. Been pretty busy. My last time out was May 23rd. Now I have pulled something in my back so I am on the IR for awhile it seems like. Anyways, here it is. The video does a quick look back at 2006 (had that part of the video done in January) and then a little bit of this spring. This version takes a bit longer to download, but is worth it IMO. MUCH BETTER QUALITY!!!!!!! http://www.snapdrive.net/files/463829/1st%20Video%2007BR.wmv Then there is this version on YouTube. It's pretty bad quality, but downloads a lot faster Video would have made a lot more sense back in April. : Oh well
  9. Nah, that can't be Solid looking boat Matt.
  10. I agree ;D ;D ;D Unless they were like two ...... 10's : Nice catchn'
  11. This picture was taken while taking out the boat for the very last time in 2006. What a way to end it ........ An October morning 2005 I think First outing of 2006 Actually caught a bass that day while it was snowing!!!!!!!
  12. That's my problem with snakes. Seems like nobody knows what they are. Already 3 people on this thread have different opinions of what that snake is. I personally think the one GMAN has pointed out is it .................. but like I said before. I assume ALL of them are man eating monsters and quickly move the other direction. ;D
  13. Have you ever see the ever so viscous "Man Eating" snakes. See them ALL the time. ;D ;D
  14. I don't understand either ...... The only place I experience this pleasure boater vs. fisherman battle is at the Lake Of the Ozarks a few times a year. And most of the time I am on the pleasure boater side. It just comes down to common sense on this particular body of water and I suspect it's the same on any other large body of water. As fisherman, we can't expect to go out on these large bodies of water and expect to have the lake exactly like we want it on summer weekends. Fortunately or unfortunately we are outnumbered. BIG TIME!!!!! It just blows my mind to see fisherman out on the Lake of the Ozarks trying to fish main lake points, in the middle of the day, on holiday weekends. And then they have the nerve to give every one of the hundreds of boats that drive past them "the look". Are they serious?!?!?!?!?!? What were they expecting??? A nice peace and quiet day out on the lake on the 4th of July. ;D ;D Then there is the docks. The only way to fish calm waters is to go back in protected coves and fish the docks. Well on summer weekends I would say about 75% of those docks in protected coves have people swimming around them. We have actually had people come fish around my buddy's dock while we swimming around it. Now who is being inconsiderate?? I will fish at the Lake of the Ozarks on holiday and summer weekends, but I am off the water by 10am at the latest. Then it's time for the jetskiing, swimming, and cruising in the big boat. That being said it's not cool for boats to get dangerously close to fisherman either.
  15. What kind of snake is this? I see these all the time. I always assume it's a copperhead. But then again I always assume every snake I see is poisonous and promptly move in the other direction. :
  16. Been using it exclusively for 2 years now
  17. I am not aware of anything, but there have been glitches in the system before. I hope it's a glitch. :-/
  18. Yes, the mud vault is awesome. ;D ;D ;D I personally like the caption that came with it, but it's not PG I personally thought this one was so funny, but soooooooooooooooooooo true
  19. Yeah, they look real
  20. I hear that. True story about my dog, Deuce ....... Late November my grandpa comes to town for Thanksgiving. Deuce greets him with his ball like he does everyone hoping that someone will throw it for him. My grandpa throws it and I tell him he could chase that ball all day long. He would do until death. My grandpa then makes it his mission that Thanksgiving to "wear him out". Mid December my grandpa has rotator cuff surgery to repair his shoulder. ;D ;D ;D Only thing he might like to do a tad better than chasing a ball is swimming. Here is a video I made last summer (got a new camera and wanted to play with it) ..... http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y79/dtjo22/?action=view&current=DeuceSwimming.flv He is truly the best dog you could ask for. Not a mean bone in his body, GREAT with kids, very easy to teach, pretty laid back, always aims to please, and just an all around great dog. I couldn't have asked for a better one. Playing ball, rain, snow, or sunshine
  21. I have an interesting one ..... My overall PB is a 10-8 caught in Texas which puts it at 57.75% By the numbers, my home state PB in Kansas of 8-3 is more "impressive" at a shade under 70%
  22. You already had that a few years ago? Of all the majors, I enjoy the US Open the most. Makes those guys look almost normal. The birdie-a-thons get old for me week after week. Par should be a good score.
  23. We had both sets of grandparents over and we all sat on the deck and shot the chit while I smoked a few slabs of ribs. Good day.
  24. Are you saying we should get that outfit to hold our beer while we fish ..... cause I have one similar :-?
