  1. No, Glenn. We learned our lesson last year, with their big 4th quarter comeback. We're up by 14 with 6:00 to go in the 4th, and I'm still holding my breath!
  2. Another Cowboys fan here. Another realist here, too. I'm looking forward to kickoff tonight. The final score, not so much. But, that's why they play the game!
  3. I love the first day of dove season, not only because of the fun hunt that typically occurs, but because it kicks off NC's six months of hunting seasons. I'm looking forward to killing my share of doves, ducks, geese, deer, squirrel, and probably a few other unlucky critters during this glorious time. Anyone else looking forward to getting hunting season kicked off with a good ol' dove hunt?
  4. Buy the house, collect rent from your 6 roommates, and you never have to worry about this again!
  5. Thanks for the update LBH. Good to hear from you.
  6. ^^^Winner! Every super-successful person I know that can read, reads a lot. You're at a time and place in your life where you have the oppertunity to read all you want. Use that time to soak up a pile of wisdom for the next chapter of your life.
  7. Slonezp, you're confused. You are evidently "happy with your life," but confused nonetheless. If you have a boss, you work for him.
  8. Here you go, Mike. We all know you were really watching those movies thinking, "Gee, I wonder how many people Rambo has killed with his shirt off?" www.geekstir.com/rambos-kill-stats
  9. That's great! But, I feel for the woman. I know how fast those "trail-side craps" can sneak up on you. Sometimes you don't have time to get things in order before you go.
  10. We might want to send out a search and rescue team.
  11. It's good to see you posting in this section. It's good to see you able to get out with your wife and son. Happy for you!
  12. Sounds like you need to take your wife somewhere else.
  13. I'm happy for the Olympians from every country. That in itself is a great achievement and honor to represent your nation among the world's best atheletes. But, when it comes to medals, I cheer for the USA to win those!
  14. There have been people compete for the USA under the same circumstances. Win some, lose some. Looking at the medal count, we're winning more than we're losing!
  15. Great news! Hope you can get your family squared away over the next couple of weeks.
  16. I'm as pro-gun as they come, but this dosn't make sense. We have the right to bear arms, but a property owner dosn't have the right to tell you to stay off of their property if you are armed? That's an infringement on their rights as a landowner. If a resturant (for example) says "no firearms allowed" I should either abide by their rules or go eat somewhere else.
  17. The other punishments (especially dethroning Joe Pa of having the most victories) certainly sends a message. Other universities, that might be tempted to sweep something like this under the rug, will think twice. This strong statement was made to help protect innocent children.
  18. God bless you, Grimlin. Will be praying for you and your family.
  19. http://www.bassmaster.com/blog/help-make-my-classic-dream-reality I thought this was a cool article, where you could help a man make the Classic. I'm sure some of you have some great insight!
  20. Well, it seems that you are quicker to defend Penn State than its administrators were to defend the children that were being molested. But, I'll bite: What do you think the NCAA should have done?
  21. My opinion is that Penn State was out of line. They covered up the acts of a pedifile so their football program wouldn't look bad. Maybe that's alright in Pennsylvania, but in the rest of the country, THAT IS OUT OF LINE.
  22. I dont care if they are amatures or professionals, I want to see who the best in the world is at a particular event/sport. It's always a nice story when the best in the world comes from some poor little country that I've never heard of, but if not, I'm still going to watch. GO USA!!!
