*Bump With the latest accusations, I move that the Saints be kicked out of the NFL and be replaced by one of the other high-paying professional teams in the South East (Alabama, LSU, Florida, etc.). Seriously, what is Godell going to do now? More fines? More suspensions? Hand down a lifetime ban? Force the entire organization to walk around downtown New Orleans wearing T-shirts that say, "I love BP"?

The South has dumber people? Huh? That's funny. I've never met a Southerner who moved north when they retired. But, I've met a lot of Northerners who moved South when they retired. It takes you Yankees a while, but you wise up!

That's the spirit that made America great! Forget all that junk about hard work, sacrifice, and doing things the right way. Just go "pad your pockets a bit"! On a serious note, if you keep that attitude up, your employers will probably eventually help you find a more stable source of income.....unemployment.

Imagine how proud our forefathers, who fought and died for our freedom in this great land of oppertunity would be if they could read these words of inspiration. Raider, employees who have integrity usually come out ahead in the long run. Integrity has been defined as "What you do when no one is looking." If you work like the boss is always watching you, you'll probably be the boss one day. That might happen through promotion within your current company, or you'll get tired of being taken advantage of and take your talents and work ethic somewhere that they will be rewarded (even if you have to create it yourself by starting your own business).

In the rural area I live in everyone waves at each other when they pass on the road. When I first moved here about 10 years ago it took me a little while to get used to it, but I learned pretty quick when I got to Church and one of the older ladies fussed at me for not "speaking" to her when I passed her on the road. Now, I just drive with my hand up, in the "howdy" position!

That's why I love this site. You can ask a question about just about anything,and within an hour or so get a few great answers. And, the fact that these guys are offering advice on this issue, means they've done the same thing before. If I had to guess, I'd say we've all found something unpleasant in our coolers!

Simple solution: Don't plan to fish any more "buddy" tournaments with him. You've called him out on a public forum, calling him a liar, and saying that he faked an illness. You're not a good "buddy". And, if he devised this grand master scheme to keep you from fishing this tournament, he's obviously not a good "buddy" either. So, don't plan on fishing another "buddy" tournament with him again, since entry upon such an event would be a blatant lie. Or, a more difficult solution: Get over it and give your "buddy" the benefit of the doubt, since he is your buddy.

Why is it so unbelievable that he was sick? Would you want your buddy to be in the back of the boat pucking all day, miserable, just so you could fish a tournament?

I love the fact that a guy named Bubba won the biggest golf tournament in the world. That's more redneck than any name to ever win the Bassmaster Classic!

Well, if you have to spend a lot of money to catch fish, or to make fishing enjoyable, that's your problem. My grandaddy taught me to fish using a cane pole, fishing "string", homemade corks, and old rusted hooks. We'd dig worms behind the chicken coop, then catch bream and bass in the pond out in the cow pasture. I'd pay as much money as your have invested in fishing gear to go sit on the bank and catch a bucket full of bream with him again. (He died 5 years ago). I own some high dollar rods and reels, and they're fun to use. But, I had an even bigger blast when I took my 2 year old daughter fishing with her $20 Barbie fishing pole the other day. I don't need high end fishing equipment to catch fish or to make it pleasurable. I get my enjoyment from the company I keep and the memories we make. Can't put a price on those!

Say what you will, but how many of you started a topic that ran up to five pages in less than 24 hours, before your 17th post? You can't deny it.....the boy's got game.

Chicken hotdogs are one of my favorite baits for any kind of freshwater fishing. If you let them sit out for a few days, the "skin" gets hard and they will stay on the hook longer. They are great for catfish!

Khaki shorts to a party. Hopped on a jetski with a friend, and got tossed in. I got out, dried off, and stood around talking for a while, before I realized that when khaki shorts get wet they are see-through.
