I read it and suprisingly liked it. I like Ike. I don't like all of his language or antics, but I love his intensity and his fishing style, so I decided to read the book. It was autobiographical, informative, and just a plain ol' good read. I'm with wildcat, I laughed out loud a few times. And his tips are useful. Definately a good book.

Hmm... :-?, oh, : I thought you wanted information on how to "REDNECK" a boat. I know how to do that. I don't know how to "redeck" a boat. Sorry ;D

Avid, I don't think cephkiller is worried about kids reading the word "turd". I think he's looking at how the whole name "bass-turd" has an amazing similarity to "wretched". I certainly understand cephkiller's concern. This is an amazing web site that is clean enough for bass fishermen of all ages. There are always people who like to push the limit of cleanliness. If "wretched" is the norm today, what will it be in two months? Cephkiller is just like a lot of us, he dosn't want this site to go the way of a lot of good things and be taken over by filth. I know we don't have to worry about Glenn or any of the moderators allowing that, but I certainly understand his concern. P.S. We all remember being in the second grade and someone asking us to spell "I cup". We would do it and then they would giggle because we had just said, "I see you pee." We've all been immature before.

I'd go to #3. I couldn't pass up the oppertunity to learn from the best (KVD) IMHO.

senkosam, I'm looking on Del-Mart and planning on ordering their starter kit for stick baits. They don't list a grape purple for color or kelly or emerald green glitter. Do they have different names or will I have to go somewhere else to order the right stuff to make junebug?

O.K., I'm trying to put this all together. This information might have already been posted somewhere else that I just don't know about, if so, just send me in the right direction. But I primarily want to make red shad and junebug senkos. Take junebug for an example. Do I just order junebug color or do I have to mix a certain (exact?) amount of different colors and glitter to get it. Say I want to make a 4 1/4 inch junebug senko, is there a certain set of specifications I should follow to make that bait?

I am about to order a starter kit from Del-Mart Molds (Thanks Bassman for reccomending them). I have the options of three different (sizes?) of glitter: .008 .035 .040 (hex) I have no idea what to get. Any advice and an explaination of the differences would be appriciated. Thanks in advance for your help. Oh yes, I'm going to be pouring stic baits (probably 4 1/4 and 5 1/4 inch if that makes a difference.

I have Friday and Saturday's as my days off. I fish every friday and then fish some tournaments on Saturdays. If I don't have a tournament I don't fish, I spend time with my wife. Amazingly, the more time I spend with here the more she wants me to go fishing ;D. Throw in a few evenings in the Summer and I get to go about 75 times a year.

I want to start pouring some plastics (just Senkos at first). Can some of you guys with experience give me some links to sites I can buy molds and everything to get started with? Thanks. Also, any help at what I will need will be appriciated.

I fish tournaments that average about 30 people and if I catch a limit (any size limit) I start thinking about getting a little money. Most of the time someone will bust a 13-17 lb. bag, but if you can catch 8-10 lbs. you're probably going to get a little cash. That's in eastern NC.

There is a pontoon boat designed for fishermen. I can't remember what it's called, but the front "deck" (the three foot section of deck on the very front of the boat outside of the rails) has two fishing seats and a trolling motor. I've tried fishing off of a pontoon boat before. IT WAS AWFUL >

I've thought about trying to make my own worms, lizzards, and Senkos, but I was wondering if it was cheaper to just go to BPS and buy them. Is it cheaper to make you own or buy name brands? What is the difference in price? Also, how much does it take to get started in pouring plastics?

I pull my beautiful Skeeter with a Chevy Taho. It does alright towing, and sleeping in the back of it is a lot cheaper than paying for motel rooms.

Does your boat have a motor? How about a battery? Does it have a fuse box? Give us some more details about your boat and I'm sure the guys here will have you listening to some nice tunes while trying to catch a few bass.
