Removing the Motor Guide trolling motor mount from my Ranger
Don't use those T mounting bolts shown or that are sold through cabela's or BPS. I nearly lost a TM with those things and have heard about others either loosing a TM or nearly losing one. They're not nearly strong enough to securely hold a TM in place, at least those 65lbs and up, running on high and hitting an underwater obstacle. They shear right off!

BOAT TAKES ON WATER
Plug off any drain and input lines to the livewell then fill it completely up. If you've got a cracked water line or bad fitting it should show up that way. That's a very common problem with bass boats. If that's not the cause, put the drain plug in and begin filling the hull with water. If you've got a crack or leaky rivets they'll show up that way. Another possibility is a leak coming in from around motor mounting bolts. Obviously..... the above tests should be done in your driveway and NOT on the water.

Are Length/Slot Limits Still Revelant?
In my state of Missouri, the first state to aggressively install length limits as a means of fish management in the 70's, the fish and game dept. is pretty good at also strongly promoting the keeping of smaller fish in waters that are experiencing an undersized fish population. I guess it comes down to how well your states F&G department manages it's water resources.

Pflueger Patriarch XT!!!!!!
another difference not mentioned. Since they've gone with the handle nut attachment method, they're using a different drag system than a standard Patriarch which was using the older Pflueger style Spin on handle drag system.

Which do you think a bass prefers?
I remember a similar study done by the Mo. conservation dept. fisheries division. The results were similar. Apparently the craws fulfill more of the dietary demands of a bass thus they get more nutritional bang for the buck when the eat them.

any feedback on a charger 295 bass boat
60? Yes. If you're fishing and riding the waves like you often do at LOZ, you'll probably have a little more water coming over the bow than you're used to but the trade off is the great ride. Sweet looking boat. $9k seems about right. I'd definitely try and offer less though

any feedback on a charger 295 bass boat
Solid well built boat. The company based in Richland, Missouri has been around since the mid 70's. I owned a late 70's pad hull Charger. Have ridden in the 195/295 style hulls. Excellent rough water riders. Well laid out as far as storage. BIG rod boxes. Now the not so good. S-l-o-w boats. Slower than a Ranger even.... The droop nose can take a little getting used to. When you're at rest fishing, the front nose of the boat gives the illusion that it just drops right off into the water. Does take some getting used to. The radical V hull has been known bow hook in a few rough water circumstances. It's not a persistent problem nor one you'd probably ever experience but I've read enough first hand experiences to realize it is a nuance of that hull.

J Franco is Off & Running
I was on a forum where members were part of the banning process. The same thing would work with locking a thread. A simple countdown from 5. I'll start this one 5

Worst band ever, 2010
Most of those bands are artistic genius's compared to just one of my worst band picks. The Starland Vocal band.

American Jet Skier killed on Lake Falcon
If they were involved in illegalities, shame on them. If they were typical jet skiers, the majority I've run across having little common sense. Cest La Vie.

Cosigning a college loan???
They only get you so far. Those loans only covered about half of my schooling. I had to come up with the rest myself I should probably try to get back in school since I have a kid (and 1 on the way). I have like 3 months of classes left and I'm done! Scholarships? Or gasp!! They could go to work... I know, heaven forbid todays babies actually working for something that mommy or daddy could just give them.... just saying, there are plenty of options available that don't involve a parent putting their credit on the line for a child. That's not really something I'd want to do, that's for sure.

- Cosigning a college loan???
Have they investigated student loans that will not involve the need for you to co-sign anything. Subsidized and unsubsidized loans are available.- Pflueger Patriarch
Size and weight. I had no need to carry around that much line on a spool. I originally purchased a Wide spool Patriarch when they first came out along with a narrow spool. I quickly sold the wlp.- Question reference my status.
You must post daily. Even if you have nothing of any interest to anyone on the planet, just post the first thing that pops into your head. That's how it's done around here.- Pflueger Patriarch
I also prefer the narrow spool versions of the Patriarch. Excellent reel.- Pics??
This is not the board for selling a boat. Go to the flea market.- Swim Bait's/Who's are better?
Not intentionally...... then again,- Firefox and this Site
Firefox has issues dealing with Flash type pages. The ads on the this site are often using Flash.- Pandora radio. Anyone else use it?
Guy at work has it. He types in a song and artist. Eventually the program gets around to playing it. In the meantime it plays just about everything else but the song you requested. I can't see paying for that.- Ideas on should i get a Johnny Morris Reel?
I've owned Revo's, Patriarchs and some JM reels including the sig model. The JM reel is as smooth as either a Patriarch or an STX. Solid, silky smooth and dependable. Unfortunately, they are also significantly heavier and a larger profile. If weight isn't an issue and you have medium to larger hands, at $120 retail, it's a great reel for that kind of money. - Cosigning a college loan???
