  1. I read one place memory lines like mono that have been on the reel a while can have issues.
  2. Are there any disadvantages to micro guides the rage has on them?
  3. OK thanks for answering my rookie questions.
  4. I understand it is what a person wants to buy and can afford but how does the rod out perform lower priced. A lot more sensitivity? Is it much more than regular rods? Thanks! I think it was G2 I was looking at.
  5. Could you please explain the full guides on avid, like what are they and what do they do different? Thanks
  6. Was at dicks looking at rods, picked up a g-loomis rod that was close to 200 duckies. Looking for a worm/jig rod but wondering how much more would a rod like that do for me compared to a bps bionic or a 100 rod? Obviously, this shows I have never owned a high end rod.
  7. Looking to get a new rod for worms/jigs. Is the rage with the extra money over a mojo? Also, is the skeeter honeycomb rod any good? Thanks!
  8. They have them discounted at dicks fit just over a hundred. I have a 20 dollar off coupon tha drops the cost into the 80's. One thing I was a little confused about when looking at different rods was the wormin rods with medium power. I thought MH was the thing for worms/plastics.
  9. Looking for a worm/ jig rod. Is the rage rod worth the 100 dollars?
  10. OK thanks. It will take me a week or so to get to it.
  11. Looks like you the man. Just tell me how to go about doing it
  12. Where do you guys send your reels need cleaning? I have shimano chronarch that needs it but want to make sure it goes to someone who knows what they're doing, it is my most expensive reel I have.
  13. Hello all I am not very experienced on crank baits. I do know rod should be medium action but not sure about action. I am looking to get something cheap like an ugly stick, would a medium with fast action be appropriate? I know this probably a rookie question, any input appreciated, thanks!
  14. Next purchase I will probably go down to 20, although the 40 does seem to handle well
  15. Went again with it on my spinning reel, but no issues this time. Made sure I was conscious of line and manually closing.
  16. I used it for the first time today. Had about 4 nests coming out from reel with having to cut several times. What could I be doing wrong? Since it was braid I didn't worry about putting it on a certain way, was that a mistake?
  17. This coming week I will be trying the rig, it will be my first time that I can remember. I am thinking creature baits or float worm. Any other baits I should consider? How is it fished? Slow or steady retrieve?
  18. I fish a lot around trees and stumps, so I like a strong line. The setup is mostly for plastics and sometimes cranks.
  19. I have some experiences with them but it appears to me I get better results when I us a slow retrieve vs ripping across the water. Anyone else have the same experience?
  20. I am wanting to give this line a try for my spinning set up, I notice the line diameter is very small, even the high lb lines such as 50lbs has less diameter compared to mono. Am I missing something thinking that a 30 or 40lb smackdown would be ok on my spinning reel since diameter so small? Thanks
  21. Tried there website but couldn't find it. Any one know?
