Buying a kayak from a man that asked if I wanted outriggers that can go on kayak. I fish in areas with stumps and trees. Can these things easily come off and on while fishing? Would there be enough space in back of kayak to temporarily store while on the go? Thanks

Looking to buy used one that comes paddle,anchor, anchor trolly, stake and robe. Does this sounds like a OK deal?

What would be a good all purpose line for topwater baits on my BC? Currently using pp 50lb. I now have a rod/feel specifically for topwater baits. I use buzzbaits, spooks, frogs and sometimes a dying flutter. Just wondering if pp 50lb too much line.

I bought one a while back from a friend but haven't used it a whole lot. My question is can all types of topwater be used on this rod or just certain ones?

What should be drag setting for buzz bait? I did wonder if I didn't set hook good enough.

I am not experienced with them well. Had a nice fish this evening hooked on one but got off. I would like some general tips on bringing a fish in on a BB. Can they be brought in slowly like with plastics? I also wonder if my drag was set to high. Thanks!

Yeah, when it works it works well, but can let you down too. Already took off, debating whether to put on yo zuri ultra soft or some power pro. Water I am fishing is medium clear to clear.

It snapped today while swimming away in straight line type way. Wonder if I should have opened spinning guide wire to let him run a little.

I tend to keep drag tighter on my spinning reel than I know I should because I feel a light setting will mean weaker hook set. Today I lost a possible PB due to line snapping before I could loosen drag, I know I need to change my mindset but not confident with the change. Is my fear of weak hookset is like the boogie man in the closet that doesn't exist?

I think I am going to try a jig. Need to replace mono with braid first. Thanks for all the input. I will let you know how it goes.

I would say it's semi clear. I have never used a leader before, because I fish cloudy ponds back home. The fish I caught today were on nanofil.

I am on vacation at lake Marion. There is a lot of lily pads in some areas but I am not use to fishing them. I know about frog fishing but any other tips for fishing this type areas? Some areas are heavily infiltrated with them while some have a couple feet between them. Thinking about trying a crankbait it space out areas. Any tips appreciated! Thanks

Is having it cleaned once a year good enough? I fish about once a week. Not sure if suppose to be oiling it or even where. Any tips appreciated!

I will be there in two weeks for vacation. What kind of water is it there? How is overall bass fishing there? If anyone will be fishing the week of the 28th to July4th and want a tag along that will help pay for it just let me know.
