  1. Fishing In Troy, Ny Area?

    I too am new to the area. I have limited time and resources but enjoy a little angling. I have been out to Lock 7 to shore fish, but have had zero luck. Grafton Lake is a good spot, but mostly pulling in perch or baby smallmouth. The only legit fish I have caught since being here was at Saratoga Lake and it cost me $150 to rent a boat and get out there.
