How does the tail action at slow speeds compare to some of the others-Yum/Zoom/Yamamoto ?

I think the guys who would buy this rod, would be more informed on their purchase....Simply because they would have to seek it out. It wouldn't be available from your local super sports market outlet shop.

I noticed awhile back that someone asked why the spell checker isn't working. They were pointed to the FAQ. But it only states that it is done automatically if you have FireFox. Yet is was not working. THIS IS WHAT TO DO TO MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU AGAIN. Go to a reply box. Before typing, right click your mouse. At the very bottom of that box will be "Languages" Mouse over "Languages", and another box will pop up. This box will have two options Click on "Add Dictionary" This will take you to another tab, where you can download an English dictionary. Once you are finished with that download, you must restart Firefox. Once it is restarted spellcheck will work with the red line under misspelled words just as before. This is something you have to do, because your dictionary setting was disturbed with a recent Firefox update.

Not while fishing, but I DO want to put a stereo in my boat. Sometimes I'll take a trip to a lake and just drive around, mapping, marking, watching sonar, etc. I'll play music. If you bring your family with you, it's nice to have some music available. I like to fish alone many times for the same reasons I don't listen to music.

Great idea. People have been paying a premium for the Loomis warranty for years.....And it happens with lots of rods. I'm having to cheepen up my purchases so I would be willing to look at these rods.

One of the most absurd things I see guys say is that this was to keep the status quo of KVD on top. Well, hate to break it to those guys but he would still school everyone on the A-rig. The guys that would struggle with it are the shallow guys. Hackney, Bruaer, and a few others. But Vandam already fishes schooling bass offshore. To me their reasoning for banning it makes PERFECT sense.

I really like the Bandit Cranks, and I'm sure others do so I thought I'd share some info I got earlier today...Might be old news to some. They are releasing NON RATTLING cranks in the 200 series, and square bills. Should be hitting shelves in select colors in the next week or two.

Well since I was one of the Rage Tail contest winners, I'll be giving them a shot for the first time. In the past I have used Paca chunks, and Chigger Chunks. For some reason, for me anyhow, I have had better luck with these vs normal chunk trailers in all conditions.

Agreed. That seems VERY odd. I've seen units that are 10 years old that do not have this issue. Me personally I can't wait till I can afford to swap out my Lowrance w/Humminbird electronics.
