Yeah. it is like 4.99 per dozen here. I usually get 2 dozen of small minnow, then 3 little box of grass shrimp which goes for 4.50 each.

I have a pair of Ray-ban and oakley. Ray-ban for driving, and oakley for everything else. Don't get those cheap pairs from wal-mart, you are probably doing more harm than good to your eyes...

I have been doing some live bait fishing with minnows, and grass shrimps. But it gets pretty expensive since I buy 2-3 dozens at time. Anyone here ever catch their own live bait? If yes, what trap would you recommend? I bought one from tackle shop here, and sit it over night but caught no more than 5 small minnows. Or any good lures anyone would recommend would work as well, so I can stop spending 20-24 bucks for bait each time I go outhaha!

I am using the mono #4 for crappie, perch fishing on UL rod and it works great.

Do you guys fish slow or fast with the rooster tail? I went to the lake today, and tried both method but caught nothing but small crappies. I saw few peoples over there fishing on fly rod, and caught few rainbow. Man, I have no idea how to fish with that thing...haha

I used size 6 barbed bait hook. Well, you can use a bigger hook if you wanted to use a bigger dough ball.

Bread Dough...just few slices of bread with water, then kneading it. I like to add some vanilla to it as well, and let me know if it works.

BPS wanted to charge me 55 dollars to clean an old reel. This is not surprising to me; I am staying away from that place for now.
