Casting At An Opponent!!
I was reading one of the articles on this site about tournament etiquette and the author said if he feels someone is coming too close to his spot he'll chuck his carolina rig at them, not hitting the boat but close enough to let them get the hint or even cross their lines. Is this really acceptable? Do a lot of you do this? Also say I want to flip a row of docks and there's already someone hitting them goin the same direction as me. Is it acceptable to cut in front of him as long as I give them a few docks as a buffer? and if so how much space is a sportsmanlike distance?

Stinky Worms!

Won My First College Qualifier!
When you say you qualified what circuit was it? Were you just qualifying to fish for your team in the FLW's or is it a different circuit all together? This season was my first fishing for Penn State and my partner and I took 11th at the big ten classic. We were both psyched cause it was the first tournament for both of us. I can't wait for the FLW season to start up but we don't have our first regional qualifier until june! I'd imagine it's earlier for you guys.

Cable Steer?
So they both use a foot pedal but the electric has a remote option also, and whenever you remove your foot from the pedal of a cable steer unit it returns to the straight forward position?

Stinky Worms!
I just received a shipment of e2 needle worms and was instantly struck by their "Aroma". Without even opening the bag my senses were slammed with the sweet smell of garlic attractant. These worms are so supple and have an amazing action and that's just shaking them in my hand! I can't wait to get a chance to use them, I have really high expectations. I got the 8" in watermelon seed rootbeer natural blue watermelon red and 5" in red bug june bug and green pumpkin lookin forward to a report after I've used them for a while

St. Croix Rage
Seems pretty clear that Rage is not the way to go. I'm already planning on buying a recon for a flippin stick and I guess I'll go some other direction to continue filling out my collection. It's sad that a company with a history like st. croix's would allow an inferior product to slip buy just to save a buck. I always felt that once companies start cutting corners to save money they end up costing themselves more in the end.

Cable Steer?
I keep seeing things about cable steer and electric steer trolling motors. I can guess just from the name what each one is but I was wondering if you guys could give me the specifics. What is cable steer? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Flw Bfl
I'm trying to fish some BFL's as a co angler this year too. I don't have much previous tournament experience but I figured this would be the best way to learn. I was going to bring five rods too but I was told that if you talk to your boater before you go out he can pretty much narrow down what you need and you can usually get away with 4 rods and a 3 or 4 trays worth of stuff. The hardest part for me is going to be choosing what to leave behind, I have separation issues. lol

St. Croix Rage
I'm going to go to gander mountain over my winter break and check them all out. Hopefully I'll be able to make a decision then but I'll probably just stand there scratching my head.

Bow Mount Trolling Motor
I don't have any pictures right now, but it's a 1992 I believe and at the bow it has a solid section that extends about a foot back into the boat but that's it. The gunwales are just like any aluminum v hull, only about two inches wide. I'm pretty sure I'll just have to build a platform. Not a big deal though, it'll give me something to think about over the winter.

St. Croix Rage
What was it about the handle? Not sensitive enough, too sticky, hard?
-
St. Croix Rage
Has anyone used any of St. Croix's new Rage series? I'm they look pretty nice but I haven't been able to handle one yet, and I am thinking about getting one.

Bow Mount Trolling Motor
I have an old '92 sylvan sea monster and I want to put a tolling motor up front. Do you know if there are any bow mounts that make this easy or would I have to build a platform to put it on.

Used A Needle Worm?
Has anyone used a needle worm from e2 baits? I ordered some because I saw a video of the tank test and the action looked ridiculous. Just wondering if they work well.

Where Can I Buy Props?
I'm building some prop baits and was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy the props?

What All Is Needed/ Which Brands To Buy
I would grab some small bullet weights, you really don't need any bigger than 1/4 oz for t rigging. Some hooks like the other guys said, and more SENKOS!! Do you have a boat?

Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
Haha classic!

Paycheck Plastics
I saw it on a youtube video, I actually found it this morning. It's some kind of craw, I don't know if they're going to come out with any others. I'd imagine it'll be a good punch bait.
-
Favorite Braid
I've really only used sufix braid and I was wondering what everyone else likes.

Paycheck Plastics
I thought I heard somewhere that Paycheck baits is going to start making soft plastics. Is this true? Has anyone heard anything about this?

Fish Finder Recommendation ?
I'd save up for a while and buy a cheap jon boat if you can find one. Being out on the water without electronics is definitely better than being on shore with a fish finder. So if you have something to transport it with I'd try for the boat.

Decisions Decisions
I'd definitely go if I had an opportunity like that. You can't win anything sittin at home.
