Go with the daiwa sol. Very smooth and sealed drag system. I have a daiwa tierra and it's a great reel if you want to go a little cheaper.

Go with a 2500 M.

I will say go with the MBR844C also. I use mine for everything. I even fish 1/8oz. shaky head jigs with it.

Pay $120 and get the st.croix tidemaster ts76mf. I have this rod with a 4000 stradic and have caught 40" 20lb snook on it with no problems. It's a great rod for fishing with bait or artis and a cast like a great also.

I have a custom made imx 844 rod and I'll tell you that this rod is unique in design. Feels very light, sensitive, and I can pull fish out of the gass with no problems with that rod. Here's one fish that I caught with it and have caught bigger fish also and have not had any problems.

I pick up the g-loomis mossyback bcr853 about 3 weeks ago and so far the rod has worked great for me. So anyone that is thinking of getting this rod I would say do it.

I have been using the symetre for 5 years and have never had any problems. Go pick one up and you'll be happy you did.

Buy the g-loomis now and you spend $60 now and $200 later. Spend the $260 now and get a great g-loomis rod. You won't be dissappointed.

Wadefishing in saltwater for trout had a jellyfish sting me.

I fish around grass and I feel every little thing with these. I'm sold also especially the tru-tungsten weed wacker jig.

I have no problem casting a 1/8oz. lure with my daiwa zillion.

I have the zilion 7.1 and use it for worm fishing and love it but if you don't want something so fast go with the zillion 6:3.1. That's another great really.
