looking to store my rods on the wall in the garage, anyone make a rack out of pvc or something cheap that worked well?? let's see the creativity!

Took my 10' Twin Troller out today in a creek off the Savannah River... The current wasn't too bad when I started fishing, but heading upstream wore my battery out by the end of the 4.5 hour trip... Caught 3 small bass on an albino fluke, had a blast and saw TONS of carp in 5-9 feet of water.. The water was so clear I could see the bottom even when it wasn't shallow.. I included some pics...

Hey all.. I am a fairly new member to the boards, been trolling a little while so I decided I would commit and join.. I am originally from Eastern NC and have been living in Augusta since 2009.. I grew up fishing a lot because my dad was obsessed, haven't fished that much in the last 10-15 years, but have recently been bitten by the bug again and now I can't get enough.. I fish mostly with topwater or soft plastics.. I have never caught a fish on a jig in my life.. Want to change that.. I currently have a 10' Twin Troller that my dad gave me and I love fishing from that, ponds and small river creeks and stuff like that.. I love picking the brains of those that know a crap-ton.

Anyone have recommendations for a new electronic for my small boat? I fish mainly ponds or small creeks off rivers with it - I currently have an old Eagle 168 EX and would love to upgrade to something with DSI.. Let me know if you have experience with something that you really like... Thanks..

thanks for the response.. I only have 4 rods so I can't get too specialized but it is plenty for me...

So I have 5:1 and 6.3:1 reels... I also see 7:1 reels advertised... What type lures are the different ratios good for and does it really matter or can I just get 6.3:1 and it be a multi-purpose? Right now I have the 5:1 on a crankin' stick...

thanks for the input - I originally put a small black and blue flake on it, it is a black buzzbait.. I used a crawfish looking 3" plastic and pulled to claws off which left a long curly tail, looks interesting, I will post a pic when able - will let you know if it gets any bites! Thanks for the responses!!
