  1. I watch all the videos read all the reports but am still a big goose egg on frogs. As for d-bags on the water........karma will catch up and I am willing to bet they don't have the afflack duck to plug holes in their boat when it starts taking on water.
  2. You could probably flip or pitch it maybe 1-2 casts, but anything else would be a freebie to a fish. I bet that sumbuck would have some killer action though
  3. There is a pond I hit every so often like that. I started asking around what people were using. Found the small department/sporting good store nearby and asked what people were using. It was so bad that people were crossing over each others lines. Turns out most were using small crappie jigs, live bait and spinners. I threw a few trick worms and had decent luck. So much so that people would come over and throw to the same spot. Long story short I don't fish this very often but for my son he has a blast as its small no wind and flat banks
  4. I recently switched over to #50 pound braid on all but one set up. I have been fishing a few really small ponds with lots of trees for shelter so I haven't noticed it. With the cooler 80 degree temp and the 3" of rain this morning I hit one of the open lakes. I swear every time I made a long cast, my line Kinda acted like a sail. I have #17 pound fluoro on my crankbait set up and didn't notice it at all. Is this normal with #50 pound? Should I drop down to 40# for normal conditions? For what its worth I was using a 1/2oz jig with trailer and a 5" hollowed body swimbait with 1/4oz weighted hook so I don't think to light a bait was the issue. Wind was a small 5-10 mph nothing major.
  5. What type of fishing? What bait? What presentation?
  6. I was waiting for a LMG plug in this thread!! I wish the rest of the line of Sellis rods had the backbone as the flipping stick but what i can't find another line of rods that are tech specific for the price
  7. Looks good. I like Knocksville so this otta be good
  8. I had seen that posted before and made note when looking at the in Bass Pro. Everything seemed inline to me there
  9. Is there a chart that shows what length and power of rod are tech specific? I know the 7'6" is the flipping stick, but I am curious to know the others. I am slowly upgrading all my rods and have decided on the Sellus due to reviews and them being tech specific. Splt grip, love the color and the price is perfect. Ive checked on their site as well as TW's and they dont say. THanks
  10. I have both Suffix and Power Pro. I prefer the Suffix myself. Seems smoother and more limp. PP was very stiff and took more line conditioned and use to soften up. For the price difference I choose Suffix.
  11. I grew up watching them and love em all. I cant wait for expendables 2. Classic killem all Sly!
  12. Thanks alot guys. I will do that. I know where I can get a pot load of PVC for next to nothing. THanks again
  13. What do you guys use to ship them. 1 piece 6-7 foot rods. I have a couple and can't find tubes long enough that don't cost 20 bucks. Thanks
  14. I use mainly shallow cranks. I have no boat so I have to go more shallow
  15. Thanks. I am using an Ugly Stick MH 6'6" and it has a bouncy tip. I looked at the WM and the KVD cranking rods and they are similar in bounce. Is this what I want?
  16. I should have added, Im a smarta** lol
  17. Im not a math expert here, but 54.99-49.99 is only 5 dollars?
  18. Higher and With arms wide open by creed. I had some ruff years with mom and dad splitting college and work. Those two along with most creed songs were very relaxing.
  19. Killer deals always make me feel great. I scored big time at Wally world last week.
  20. 4" black tube with blue tail dipped in jjs chartreuse.
  21. For tackle boxes I usually stick with what's cheap. Bass Pro has a nice soft bag set up for 40 ish I want to try out. As for tackle, honestly it depends on how, what and where your fishing. I fish central Oklahoma with some very dirty water. This is Kinda a short list of what I tote around. 4-10" Ribbon tail worms. Red shad and June Bug are my favorite. 3" and 4" tubes. Black with blue tails dipped in JJ's chartreuse are my favorite. This color for me is my weapon of choice. 4"-5" razor worms for drop shot. Zoom trick worms Rage tail lobster draw and chunk Swim baits Cant forget jigs. As for crank baits, I use a lot of lipless chartreuse and craw colored baits. I like bomber brand cranks in the same color. About 10-12 different colors of Senkos in 4"-7" That's just whats in my boxes. If you have slop to fish in grab some frogs as well.
  22. Were they soaked in anything prior to putting them in the bag? I have 3 different brands that my son plays with in the back of the truck. They have been there for months in the sun weather etc and are still soft.
  23. I see. I have never had that happen. I tried messing with one the other day and it felt so awkward that I put it back.
  24. 20mm cannon. Because sometimes its entirely nessessary to kill a fly with a sledge hammer!
