I think what people are missing is the position Coach Paterno had. I say Coach for a reason. Reguardless of PA law about reporting felonies, a coach is one held to higher standards. PSU is throwing him under the buss and trying to take the blame off of themselves. "Coach Paterno should have done more" etc is their gripe. The whole d**n university is to blame. Coach should have done more. By taking his statue and wins away, all PSU is saying is Coach Paterno is the guilty one. Not sandusky or the university. No one trolls around a college for boys and doesn't get noticed. Everyone knew including the administration. My question is how long and what else got covered up. No amount of penility will make this go away or lie down. As much as I hate to say it, a college is an institutation of higher learning. Punish the program not the students. I say 10 year explusion of the football program.

Hey all. I posted this same questionnaire on the Diesel rod and got some good results so I wanted to try this rod too. To all the Abu Garcia Veritas owners I have a few questions. Overall how well do you enjoy your rods? I'm really interested in the 7' Medium casting rod. Any issues with braid or fluoro tearing up the eyelets? Honestly if you had another 90 bucks and needed another rod, would you get another? What about the micro guides. Are they worth buying? How is the backbone on this rod? Any issues with breakage when ripping a bass out of cover? Thanks in advance.

I mainly use poppers (next to Jigs my favorite go to bait) in the early AM and late evening. I know they are an all day bait, but I have had the best of luck using them at those times.

I think if you took a poll here, 50/50 would say they use a leader as compared to those who dont. Fluoro is more used as a leader than mono, but guys do use it. For the money, I would say splurge and get some good Fluoro if you are going to use it. Your only using 6-8 feet for a leader so a 200 yard spool will last a lonnnnnnnnng time

I like it for top water Poppers. I like to let my bait sit for a few seconds and it doesnt sink near as bad as Fluoro

Are you talking a pour concrete rock wall or dumped rock wall? On the dumped rock walls I like to bounce a jig up and down. I have also been having a decent time using a drop shot with a trick worm over them. Not sure if I am doing it right or not as I am a newby with the rig, but I catch fish.
