I took it off and the bump is facing the reel I'm just going to send it back.

Revo Stx Gen2
I just recently bought a Revo STX because it was discounted. I have heard great things about this reel. I got it today in the mail only to find out that the tension knob does not seem to work. I had it tightened all the way down and a 3/16 oz weight fell like a rock. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if they know any way to fix it, otherwise I'm just going to send it back.

Molix "the Lover"
I have recently seen a lot of videos on Molix's The Lover which was designed by Mike Iaconelli. It is a vibrating jig and in my opinion it looks pretty good, however I do not know of anyone who currently sells it. I also would like to know if anyone has tried it and how they like it.

Viscous Fishing Products?
I like Sunline Super fluorocarbon. I tried it early this year because I heard good things about it. I haven't had any problems with it, and its only $14.99.

Fishing In Wind
When it's windy, like a lot of others said, I prefer using spinnerbaits, swim jigs, or a heavy texas rigged plastic so you can maintain bottom contact. I always keep my rod tip and line close to the surface, or even have it in the water depending on how windy, that way the wind can't catch the line and create a large bow in it. That way you can maintain contact with your baits.

St. Croix Avid Spinning Rods
I think that I'll probably end up going with the 6'8" medium power rod since many of you suggested that it would be a better choice. Thanks for the help.

St. Croix Avid Spinning Rods
I am looking for a new spinning rod and I really like the Avid 7' medium power rod with a fast action. I was wondering how anyone feels about this rod. I am planning on using it primarily for senkos.

Dobyns Savvy Or Powell Endurance
I am looking for a new pitching rod. I have narrowed it down between a Powell Endurance 764FLIP and a Dobyns Savvy Micro Guide SSM 735C. The reel I am going to use is the Lew's Tournament Pro. Any suggestions would be great as to what rod you think I should go with.

Looking For A New Rod And Reel Jig Setup For $300
i would go with a Powell Endurance 764FLIP which is a 7'6" medium action rod. It's rated for 3/16-1oz and 10-20lb line. This rod would be perfect to throw 1/4oz jigs, but it would still have plenty of backbone to throw even heavier jigs. It costs $169.99 and I would pair it with a Lew's Tournament MG which is $129.99.

Lew's Speed Spool Tournament Pro
I really like the looks of this reel and I am thinking about buying one. I know that they are very good reels but I would like to know how durable they are. If anyone can let me know what they think that would be great.
