Best Cross Over Rod For All Types Of Baits
A 7' medium heavy fast action will cover jigs t-rig pretty much anything you throw at it and a 7' medium moderate for treble hook baits would be my choice of two rods then a 6'10 medium x-fast for anything I need a spinning rod for tight lines Andrew

Going Tomorrow To Get A New Squarebill Rod
I've been using a 7' m moderate St Croix Avid with 40# braid it casts very well and has the backbone to move figs with the braid. I really like it but It is out of your price range so I might look into a premier. Tight lines Andrew

Skin Cancer
I'm 17 and have now started fishing in long sleeve shirts and wear a sun buff and love it. It keeps me so much cooler than without it and now I dont see myself fishing without it. I figure its better to start now rather than have problems later. tight lines Andrew

Buying A New Boat
I started out in a fiberglass rig and didn't notice any real sharp learning curve after being out in it a few times we were able to get it all the way up to WOT. It honestly depends on the type of boat you want Tight lines Andrew

Drop Shotting (Going To Give It A Try)
Give it a try it is an awesome technique that I am just starting to get used to doing and is becoming one of the staple rods in my arsenal. Also don't be afraid to throw it in stained water. It still works and it catches good fish too lol Tight lines Andrew

Family Type Bass/john Boat? Need Advice!!!!
fiberglass is a smoother ride and you have to be more careful about where you go with it. Aluminum you can take in places that fiberglass dont normally go and don't have to worry about scratching the fiberglass. I have a fiberglass Stratos 273 vindicator that is in the 17 foot class that fits 3 fishing barely if your going to have 4 fishing you are probably gonna want to be on the bigger side. Also what size motor are you thinking as Trackers are notorious for being underpowered. tight lines Andrew

6'10 ml x fast St Croix rage Shimano sahara 2500 10# power pro 8 or 10# fluorocarbon either gammy #1 drop shot hook or vmc spinshot weight varies from 1/8 to 1/2 ounce. I will drop it straight down and twitch it over fish. or cast and drag it back to the boat pausing occasionally tight lines Andrew

Still Need Cranking Rod Help
Generally when crankbait fishing they hook themselves so an exposed blank is not essential to feel them. An extra guide shouldn't do anything what rods are you looking at? Which rods are you looking at? Tight lines Andrew

Ever Lost A Rod?
Almost lost my St Croix LTB lew's combo earlier this year in a tournament. I was pitching a jig along a wall on the infamous Lake One fish Anna and as I was swinging the jig like I always do my rod flies out of my hand in 20 foot of water. I hit the deck as fast as humanly possible and by shoving my arm up to my shoulder into the water was able to grab the butt of the rod. Talk about relief lol turns out I had not pushed the button to free the spool lol talk about feeling stupid I did end up winning the tourney with ONE 5 pound largemouth. I guess the lake lives up to its name lol tight lines Andrew

Do You Remember The First Bass You Caught?
I dint remember my first bass but the first bass I remember was on a Fly rod (grew up fly fishing then transferred over to bass tackle once I got into tournaments) on a big popper and he just demolished it ended up being about three pounds. I remember my first tournament fish. A 12 inch dink that barely kept on legendary ONE FISH ANNA caught on a shaky head on a borrowed St croix Avid. I blame my friend who fishes full time and now is one of the hosts of the Show Angling Virginia for this addiction lol Tight lines Andrew
