  2. 7' medium moderate St Croix Avid BPS PQ 6:4:1 40# pp. Love to fish square bills on it tight lines Andrew

  4. If you want more why not go with a heavy fast action veritas?
  5. I found I cant skip unless its with my 6'8 mh fast action St Croix LTB tight lines Andrew
  6. The one thing i think of when i fish my veritas is Stout. 3/8oz is minimum I like to throw on that rod. I throw lures up to 1oz on it no problem. I think you are just fine with that rod. tight lines Andrew
  7. PM Wayne P. he is the one responsible for the pics Hes wacky about Wacky lol tight lines Andrew
  8. I use strike king tour grade tungsten and its insert free and is extremely smooth inside and out. i believe it varies by brand tight lines Andrew
  9. first welcome to the forums and second if the fish aren't there to begin with then there isn't a way to get them there. if they are there then sight fish for them. Senko, shaky head, jig, texas rig all of these baits will catch fish when sight fishing all you can do is really just hope to not spook them tight lines Andrew
  10. I normally make long casts and adjust the boat to the target. the farther away from the fish the least amount of chances to spook said fish tight lines Andrew
  11. HMMM so you solved the problem yourself? Whats the question? Tight lines Andrew
  12. Ummm all the way up loose spool tension and natural ability. The brush jig by Siebert skips well other than that not much more to be able to tell you. I can do it just fine with my Tournament mg but honestly there are normally better presentations for it rather than skipping Tight lines Andrew
  13. Get a KVD 1.5 in blue gill and a storm silent arashi in chartreuse craw. Find the nastiest stick/rock/whatever cover you have throw the bait past it and then crank them back through the cover smacking the bait off of the structure and hope for a reaction strike. Crankbaits are one of those baits that will produce well in lots of different situations you just have to commit to them for a trip or two. That's what I did to try to learn to fish the jig and now I have confidence in it. You just have to gain confidence in it and then once you do you will become an addict lol Tight lines Andrew
  14. I started out and placed 5th in my first. Then went on a blanking streak that lasted 4 tourneys including the state championship and the turned it around placing 5th and then first in this past one. The one thing to remember is to keep it simple that is the key tight lines Andrew
  15. That should work go with the MG i have one on my jig and worm rod and love it for that technique Tight lines Andrew
  16. The rapala 50 pound one is good thats what we use tight lines Andrew
  17. I was going to suggest a St Croix rage 6'8 ml x-fast but those top out brand new at 159 so if you can find one cheaper than go for it. I have a lews with 10# pp and a fluoro leader tight lines Andrew
  18. X2 swimbaits They are known for finding bigger fish in locations and as Bluebasser said if they dont bite you may at least get a follow and see the fish tight lines Andrew
  19. Frog will still work and try a weightless worm in areas where water is running into the pond the bass may be stacked up there gorging themselves on the things being washed into the pond tight lines Andrew
  20. Cast net lol. you could try live bait if you need to get them. Senko maybe. Shaky head is another. tight lines Andrew
  21. The lightning that has seemed to be ever present for the past three days tight lines Andrew
  22. Lew's tourney pro or a Lew's tourney pro lol and I would go *** and then buy another *** with the extra hundred bucks. Also you could step up a little bit but not a ton and get a couple Lew's tournament mgs and do what I suggested with the omens and you could double your outfits for the budget and could have 2 new sweet outfits Tight lines Andrew
  23. Well in that case you definetly need a 745 and while your at it you might as well pick up a couple St Croixs while your at it lol and can't forget the tourney pros to go on them. And you can't have that cheap line either gotta have the tatsu lol. I HATE YOU BAIT MONKEY Tight lines Andrew
  24. Unless it's a really big brush pile lol Tight lines Andrew
