Back in the 90's I loved Pantera, also really like Sepultura, NIN, Megadeath, White Zombie, Anthrax and possibly more that I can't think of off the top of my head. While maybe not on the "metal" level, I also enjoyed me some Soundgarden, Nirvana, AIC, STP, Pearl Jam, Metallica, and I'm sure I missed some there as well. The only time I listen to music these days is on long car rides and 99% of the time I am with the family so it's usually something we can all agree on, which isn't heavy metal. Every now and again if I'm on the couch by myself I will pull up some stuff on Youtube and reminisce about the good ol days.

Give us all the updates you want. I don't want to speak for everyone, but we are all pulling for her and look forward to all the positive updates we can get. Tell her to keep up the good spirits and there are many, many people pulling for her and asking God to watch over her.

Wearing a mask with an oxygen supply requires you to breathe normally. You cannot try to hold your breath. First time I strapped up, I freaked out.

I freaked out when I first got trained on the Fire Dept. with an SCBA (missing the U because it's not underwater) because I wasn't able to breathe calmly. It takes some getting used to.

I lied, it's 3. I have to poop with my pants off when I'm at home. I don't want to have to fight off an intruder with my pants around my ankles. Not really scared, just prepared.

I'm not talking about one of your family members dying or getting cancer or anything like that. I'm talking about things that just freak you out. I have 2. One of them is snakes, cannot stand them, I'm a big baby when it comes to snakes. The other one I recently developed. A fear of heights. When I was younger I climbed the local water tower 3 or 4 times and the height never bothered me. The last couple times we have went on vacation my in-laws have rented a condo. This last time we were on the 22nd floor and I could not go on the balcony because my anxiety got so bad it was unreal. I know you guys probably aren't afraid of anything, but some of you might be honest. LOL

Odds of getting struck by lightning are also greater. I've been struck by lightning. Probably have a better chance of getting struck by lightning again though.

I guess I just don't get it. People start freaking out when the amount gets up super high. They act as if they won 30 million they just couldn't make it. But when it gets up to 500 + people all the sudden want to start playing. Some people are just dumb I guess. Got my ticket in hand!

I'm the head JH softball and asst. HS, just waiting on the current coach to retire.

Well, we have been playing softball for the last few months and haven't even thought about basketball in a long time. We had a weekend off from softball and there happened to be a basketball tournament available. I told my wife there was no way we could go play in a basketball tournament and be competitive after not having played or practiced in ever how long. That being said, the girls really wanted to play so I said, whatever. We ended up 5 wins and 0 losses. Our 2 pool play games were 44-9 and 24-12. Then in bracket play we went 33-5, 28-7 and 25-17. I can't say enough good things about how hard these girls play. Pretty high level basketball for 5th and 6th graders. Btw, we are far and away out sized every game we play, but we get after it on defense.

So, I was doing my laundry today and there was some clean laundry on top of the dryer. There was a pair of panties on there and I thought I would have a joke with my wife. I carried them in the living room and said, "So when are you going to wear these for me?" She said, "Well those are your daughters, so I don't think I will be wearing them." I don't think I will ever recover.

It got cold here today, I don't think it made it above 95.
