Instead of hitting post hit more options and then it is a little square like a little picture. Click it and then a window pops up and you put in the address of the image. To get the address of the image from facebook you right click on the picture and select copy image URL.

The Hangkai is still running strong. I had it out on the Caloosahatchee a couple weeks ago. I have a 30lb motor and it moves my Bass Raider pretty good but I do have a gas motor for the long hauls. I actually wish there was a slower speed on my trolling motor for when I am working shorelines. I may end up getting a bigfoot but too busy spending all my money on flyfishing gear right now, got the fever. dang bait monkey.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I take mine into the salt and along the ICW and I haven't had any problems. Just keep your eyes open for big wakes because they can catch you offguard. lol I've had big wakes hit me from the side but these boats just float right over like a bobber. I have had a few break on the bow too but nothing comes in and I have never been swamped.

I was thinking about doing a bass tournament in mine, which requires insurance but I did not insure it yet.

I use the walmart special size 29 everstart and this thing is it. I can not get the thing below 70% unless I camp out for a couple nights. http://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Maxx-Group-Size-29-Marine-Battery/20531539

Mine sounds pretty good with good bass and highs and lows. I use it in my garage, at the beach and even in the shower too and never had a problem in 2 years.

A marine radio or a stereo? I use my Ipod in an Eco extreme speaker thingamabob. It is pretty clear and I can even hear it over my little outboard. I use it in my kayak too and the thing has been soaked many times and never a problem. I sit it on top of my lunch bag so no vibrations alert the fish. And the batteries last forever.

The 10E is the electric version which means it is wired for the trolling motor. The 10 DLX has no electric and cheaper seats. And the Bass Raider 10 has no electric and folding seats. I am guessing the person at Dicks is talking about the 10 because it used to be listed on their site but no longer is. I got mine from Dicks during their free shipping boat sale which is due soon. The shipping took forever and their customer service is horrible to put it nicely.

Yup, a rudder is the way to go when no outboard is on the back.

Welcome to the club and the boards. You will not regret buying one. My kayak has been collecting dust since I got my Bass Raider.

Pelican Boat From Dicks
I have been in some big wakes in my Bass Raider and stayed dry. Keep your eyes open though because them big wakes rock the boat bad and I would not want to be standing when it hits. They handle chop pretty good too and stay dry. I take mine in the salt sometimes.

Need Some Kayak Advice....again
I have been hearing good things about the Old Town Predator.

Trolling Motor Battery
I have had mine for almost 2 years and run my 30# all day for 8 hours and still have not made it below 72% capacity when it hits the charger. I use it on a 10 foot Bass Raider .

Has Anyone Tipped Over Their Kayak / Canoe
I was fishing one day and all of a sudden skippy the happy mullet starts jumping, once twice, and then the third time he landed right in my yak with me. He was going nuts and hit me in the nuts so my natural reflex was to put my hands down and lift my body. Then he started really going crazy and grazed my fellas again so I lifted my leg and woosh flipped over like I was on a log. I was in chest deep water with the sun setting in an area with big gators so I came back the next day at low tide(brackish river) and got all my gear back. Cleaned it all up and greased it, still using some today. It was in a touristy manatee viewing area with about 5 people watching me and not one had the camera rolling. I was hoping because I would've sent it in to Americas Funniest videos. My pride hurt the most. It wouldn't have been so bad if nobody witnessed it.

Kayak Fishing Spooking Fish
Kayaks are great for sneaking up on big fish. I have coasted over some big ones and they just thought i was a log. They will hide in your shadow too waiting for an easy meal.

Lake Toho Or Okeechobee
You can catch a big one in a drainage ditch down here. I have a local lake down here that hardly anyone fishes and when they do it is usually for snook or tilapia. I have caught a 7, 8 and 10 there in the past year. Not to mention all the 30" plus sized snook. Fun fun fun. Good luck on your trip. If you have no luck on your goal I can bring you for one more try on your way back to the airport.

http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=plastic+weld I have heard of people also melting down old milk jugs to fill in the cracks. Yeah the top end is low but it gets there fast. A brand new motor for less money than a used motor, too cheap to pass up. This is my first outboard so it is great for me. I am already eyeing a bigger boat, this was just my warm-up boat but I will keep it for easy access to the water on a dime and for electric only lakes.
