Trokar flipping hook
A small weight is enough to get the hook to pivot. And if it doesnt in one instance you have same hook up chance as any other knot. Ive hooked many bass through roof of mouth with snell knot that were hooked in corner of mouth with SDJ.

Neko Rig
Huge difference between neko rig and trigged finesse worm. Neko acts like a shaky head and will fall straight down. It can be worked in place and utilizes a much easier hookset as the hook is exposed. Also less likely to hang up in rocks than t-rig. Not to mention that you can neko rig any soft plastic not just a floating worm.

What tackle and extras to bring in the Kayak??
I take 3 rods...but am upgrading storage to 5. Building a crate to hold 3700 boxes as its a pain to open tackle bag. I store soft plastics under my seat. I have an anchor trolley that i used for an anchor that i lost (was more a pain to use and store than it was useful) so i bought a stakeout pole to use with the trolley instead. Front dry hatch has a dry bag of spare clothes. Also rain gear and a small med kit with space blanket. Never know when you will need it. And heavy gauge wire cutter is very important. I have a small cooler i put drinks in that also fits in front hatch or rear storage area.

Neko rig weight
So ive become facinated with this technique and feel like it could help me as a co angler and fisherman in general. What weight do you all suggest? Last weekend i used 3/16 lead cylinder weight in a stickbait and felt like the bait fell very fast. Would a 1/16th be adequate? Im looking at fishing it very shallow to out to 15 feet or so. Perhaps a 1/8th?

Trout swimbaits for bass that heven't seen trout?
- Will a moderate tip cover all of these bases?
In my experience...any moving bait thats not soft plastic should have a slower action. I hook up with waaay more fish wtih my mod action rod with spinnerbaits than i ever did with my fast or extra fast.- Right lure for specific time of the year
Topwater doesnt work during ice fishing season- Right lure for specific time of the year
There are no rules with bass Pretty much the only givens are that jigs work year round and topwaters are a long shot in cold water.- Gambler Lures
Any thoughts on a buzzbait trailer? I use a 1/4 oz buzzbait with black little otter that works well but want a white or shad 1/4oz buzzbait and the otters dont come in those colors. Would the buzzing toad be too long and the cane toad too thick? I was thinking 4" flapn shad.- Gambler Lures
Any experience with their finesse worms or dropshot shad?- Good frogs
Spro- Gambler Lures
Ive become a fan within the last year and would like to hear others opinions on what plastics they like from gambler and which products to avoid. I like their boottails, their ace, and their burner worm and even little otter for buzzbait trailer...are there other must haves? It seems like they have a complete line up of products.- gambler flap'n'shad
Anyone ever use these before? Want somethint I can toss into laydowns and work out with thump like a crankbait without snagging. Do they put off much vibration?- co angler: how to fish "slow"
As a coangler, how can you fish "slow" when your boater is fishing fast? My boater today was in overdrive and we got smoked by the club who were all fishing slow. Are there are techiques that would fish slow enough for sluggish bass while run and gunning down bank?- Spro Rat? Anyone?
Killed em a couple weeks ago in mid 50 water temps with high winds just straight reeling it back. One of my confidence baits now- Daiwa Tatula CT reviews?
Cheaper, smaller, lighter than original. Plus available in 8 to 1 ratio. I love mine. Not much else to say really, operates same as original with same parts (smaller twing line guide)- Owner Flashy Swimmer
I use 5/0 for 5 inch baits and 3/0 for 3.5 inch baits- Owner Flashy Swimmer
