New Fuego
The old fuego was a dumbed down version of Daiwas flagship reel the TDZ. The new fuego is a dumbed down version of Daiwas mid level reel the tatula. If Daiwa was true to fuego name it would be a dumbed down Steez. And for record...I'd be interested in one if it didn't use tatula frame. Oh and those extra bearings are bogus. All in handle and worm gear which is just fluff.

What Poundage Of Largemouth Bass Fights The Hardest?
By the way, you ever seen Justin Lucas fight that 12# on the delta? Mayhem.

What Poundage Of Largemouth Bass Fights The Hardest?
Caught a 5lb 10 oz lmb today on a size one hook on ML rod and 8 pound test. That sucker fought like a 20 pound carp. I couldn't budge him and he kept digging for the bottom. After a couple minutes he wore out enough to pull him to surface long enough to net him (after he nearly surfaced then peeled off 20 feet of line).

Anybody Else Fishing Rats?
She can operate the front of the boat. The views are better from the back of the boat anyway.

Diawa T3 Applications
Great for skipping too!

Diawa T3 Applications
Anything. Nice for jigs as you can engage reel with one hand by closing hood.

Calling All Reel Experts
Odds are the piece that looks like a buzz saw is on backwards. The way you have it the teeth slide off the catch that disengages thumb bar and engages gear. Flip the teeth around and it will catch and engage reel.

Heavy Mainline Light Leader
Line diameters is an issue. I'd also have to think the shock of a hookset from 65lb to 10lb would be iffy.

Is Punching Lilly Pads A Technique
Some of the watershield I've seen is so thick that a rod and reel would sit on top of it.

What's The Most Underrated Productive Bait?
I don't have the structure to fish spoons. Most of my lakes are very snaggy with timber. There are a couple spots I want to try though

Is Punching Lilly Pads A Technique
I fish thick lily pads and watershield and you do punch them. Caught a lot of bass that way. 3/4oz tungsten and up. Only other way to fish them is with weedless topwater.

Stable Kayaks
I've smacked my rods a couple times on my lure. Not usually a problem unless I'm overhead casting.

Leader For Power Shot
Going to use power shot this weekend at my tournament in heavy timber and wonder who all uses a leader like on a finesse dropshot. I have 16 and 20 lb copoly to use with 65 pound braid.

Motor Guide Bulldog Foot Controlled Trolling Motor
No idea, sorry

Stable Kayaks
I had the same mindset until my desire to get out on the water overpowered it. Sitting to fish is better than standing on shore frustrated that you can't do anythinng
-
Dropshot Hookset
They don't mind the little extra metal.
-
Stable Kayaks
Standing and controlling the kayak is also tricky. So in higher winds I tend to just sit and fish.

Dropshot Hookset
No, they are different hooksets. The one I use, the rod loads as you reel into fish and then you lift to stick the hook. The other one is more power fishing style. Feel bite, pick up slack (if any), lift/swing while reeling. You could see both styles in bass coverage of stclair.
