Flippin....braid Or Flouro?
fluoro sinks...making your lure drop slightly more realistic (in heavy cover like those lily pads in your picture, the fluoro will get caught on the pads so sink rate is really no different from braid). It's also hard to see under water, so it's good around sparse cover. If you watch for nicks in your line, you won't have a problem around timber. fishing in heavy weeds though...go braid as it will cut through better and give a better hookset.

R2S Biggie Square Bill
Anyone have these crankbaits? They have been reviewed well by tackletour and are priced well. The color options are very nice. What quality can be expected for R2S trebles?

Savage Gear Glide Swimmer
Just saw these on the retailer to not be named. Pretty good price and they look pretty cool on their videos. Anyone ever use one or know much about them? Might be a christmas present for the bait monkey from me.

Offset Hook Point
as stated, VMC offset shank's have 3* hook offset. It could help, give it a shot, they are cheap.

Hook For Texas Rigs
different hook for different techniques. straight shank for heavy cover (really can use them anytime). snell knot helps hook them in meeaty part of upper mouth and keeps them on in cover. offset shank for regular texas rigging. offset increases hookups since hook is exposed more. extra wide gap for thicker bodied baits and swim baits. the ewg provides more room for the plastic to get it out of the way of hooksets. putting these thick baits on an offset and the plastic may ball up and you only set hook up to the barb and lose your fish.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
im starting to lean towards these boats. how hard is it for one to put it in the back of a truck? it takes my dad and i to put his coleman crawdad in his truck. how well can you stand and fish? i can hardly fish sitting down which is why im ruling out most kayaks.

Jig Colors Why Do We Limit Ourselves?
color isnt my main fishinv factor. but it is a factor. i punched a hole for 30 plus minutes with a dbomb in junebug without a strike. i switched to two tone candy grass and it was on! same hole same presentation but slightly different color.
