What the bass biting on in SC?

I had one on my pontoon. I unscrewed it for storage for my catfish gear.

I go to North Myrtle every year. I am from SC. I mainly fish small ponds in there.

Glad I saw this post. The other day I was fishing out for fun and I finish fishing some docks and I pull out about 8-10 docks away from these guys and I'm minding my own buisness and they circle back around and say "let us right here. We are fishing a tournament and desperate to catch some fish." So I move to the next dock over and they start to leave and say " Well I guess you caught that one" then drive off like maniacs!!

I have speed bags that are like small duffle bag. I saw at BPS and Cabelas they have the KVD ones I believe. I just renewed by BASS membership and got a small one too. My buddy has one and a co angler I know has one and they are great for toting from boat to boat and on and off boats too. I would recommend those. They fit about 20+ I believe.

I myself am a Crankbait junkie. I have tons of crankbaits so I'm a crankbait fan. Good thing about this is it's something a starter can use and something that can be used year round. The other side is I don't like Jigs. I can catch a bass on a jig but I never want to. Jigs are also a good all the time bait. In your situation start out using the basics. Go to the local Cabelas, Academy, or whatever tackle store and buy you a few crankbaits, soft plastics (Trick Worms, Flukes, SENKOS, and Craws), and some soft swimbaits. Now get a notebook, pen, and a computer. Take notes on videos you watch. Look for videos with your bait and your season. I still use this before every tournament. The best bass fishing channel on YouTube is Bassresource. He is on here too. Go check him out. He has turned me from a 1 fish a day to 15+. Best of luck to you!

Went to the new Cabelas in Greenville, SC bought a new Lews rod and reel and some other fishing stuff along with some sunflower seeds( which I'm addicted to and I will eat them while I'm fishing)

If I could fish with anyone it would be my Papa Jack. He died in 06. He was a guide and loved to fish for anything. I miss him so much. If only I could fish with him once.

I'm with everyone else. I hate when people leave trash. I usually pick it up and get it myself but another thing is the trash could get in the lake and run off fish.

I've slowly gotten better and I usually don't stay if it appears to be under 3-5lbs

I'll be fishing and see a bass and will stay in that spot trying to catch the bass. I will spend up to an hour doing this. Do you think this is a problem? Do y'all struggle here too?

The worst I've ever been in was 21 degrees raining and I was wearing no rain suit. I last the whole time but it was tough.

I fish from a Jon boat. I threw the super fluke and caught 2 on them. I went back today and caught more. They were biting lipless cranks today so I caught about 8-10.

I fish a pond everyday. I went down on a warm evening last week and the minnows were stacked up along a bank and bass crowded the area. I threw a small ratltrap and a smaller jerk bait and a fluke. I caught about 3. I saw around 10-15 down there. Any better way to approach it?
