Anyways I caught a 16 lb striper on a buck tail just twitching it. The bite was slow this past weekend but this weekend is looking to be good because of the warm weather.

Looking For Small Fish Finder.
I'm not wanting too much. I have the money to buy it but I just want to find brush piles, trees, rocks, etc. My grandpa was a guide and he has a lot stashed away but I'm just looking for something small and easy. I looked at a few of the Humminbirds you showed. I will probably end up going the free way and have a bigger one. I just wanted to know just in case and if I got a small one for my front deck.

Looking For Small Fish Finder.
I am fixing up my grandpas old bass boat and looking into getting a small fish finder mostly to see the structure. What is a small cheap fish finder? Do I really need one just for this? Any other way to see structure?

Lake Locked Stripers
If you want to catch them look for the birds. I am a striper fisherman. My uncle is a guide. My opinion is look for birds then hit the banks with a buck tail. Full white with a white Ice fluke trailer. Just twitch the bait and it will catch them!! Just gotta find the burds

Separate Tow Vehicle Or Not
My uncle is a guide. So he drives his truck with the boat behind it everyday and he's a farmer so he hauls stuff. The same truck is his normal ride around town truck. Back when he had his old truck he had one for the boat and farming and one for the town only because it was tough on the old truck.

I think it's a sport. The time I spend in it is about the same amount as an athlete. All the tackle arrangements, store visits, and throwing practice.
