Dumb Question -- Why Does No One Troll Deep Crankbaits In Tournaments?
The tournaments I have fished in the southeast, trolling is not allowed but strolling is allowed. I watched the Elite series on Douglas lake and many were strolling.

Shallow Water Anchor Or Hydraulic Jackplate
He is talking about adding a Hydraulic Jackplate. He may be replacing a standard jackplate. He has not been very clear about what he has on the boat currently. As WIGUIDE stated earlier you can mount power poles without having a jackplate, as on the larger Rangers.

Favorite Tv Show?
I keep my 3 year old grandson a couple of days a week. Sheriff Cali is my new favorite show, lol. Before that NCIS and the old JAG reruns were at the top of the list. Like the Pickers too

Diy Water Impeller.
I have always greased mine but have read somewhere about using liquid dish washing soap in place of the grease. Either would probably be fine. Just makes sense to lub with something....

Anybody Run Into This Little Problem Before?
Happened to a friend of mine. They took his truck and left the trailer. They also left his lock and a note that said he could reuse his lock since they did not damage it, lol. Apparently they could pick the lock or unlock it some way....

What's The Best Concert You've Ever Attended?
Well, I'm going to age myself. Saw the Stater Brothers in concert in Charleston SC many years ago. After the 3rd or 4th curtain call they came back out in street clothes after being gone a long time. They said "if you want to hear us that bad we will stay and sing". They performed several more songs before telling everyone they wanted to meet everyone that attended and invited everyone on stage. The crowd just refused to leave. A memorable night. Have attended the Grand Ole Opry several times this year, but prefer the Ryman.

Trolling Motor Weed Guard
The best one I have used was nothing more than a stainless steel knife blade that hose clamped to the motor housing protruding toward the prop. The skeg prevented the blade from sliding out of position. As the prop rotated the weeds were cut by the blade as the prop turned. I don't remember where I got the thing but it worked pretty well especially with the 4 bladed prop...I still have the thing but did not save the packaging. Edit- Just watched timcauliffe post above on the ninja grass blade. Not the exact same tool but very similar. This works well

T And H Marine G Force Prop Nut?
I am not an expert in fish behavior, you may be right. How far sound travels in water is fact, fish behavior to that sound is unknown to me, however if the sound isn't present it will not bother them. We all accept that loud noise such as dropping a rod/reel on the deck can spook fish in shallow water. Why does injecting sound energy through a transducer into the water not bother the same fish. Maybe it is because we don't hear it, or we have trained them to accept the pings as normal? Maybe....But when I flip shallow water my sonar is off and what you is fine with me. I feel the fish can tell the difference in a boat pinging a mile away vs a boat pinging 10ft away......

T And H Marine G Force Prop Nut?
I don't blame you that is a PIA every move. I have no reason to talk you into turning off your sonar, no motive here. Do what is most best for you

T And H Marine G Force Prop Nut?
In reality fish can hear your sonar for miles. Just imagine what that sounds like up close, to a fish. Sound travels great distances in water, Ask anyone that has served on submarines. I recommend that when you are flipping you turn off your sonar entirely and keep trolling motor power as low as possible. I have read however, that intermittent sounds bother fish more than constant sound, which makes sense. I would still be concerned about sonar, especially in shallow water where fish are a little spooked anyway. Do you really need sonar to flip? I assure you every time your sonar transmits it sounds like a base drum to a fish.....

T And H Marine G Force Prop Nut?
Here is my take on these things. We need a heat sink on a shaft that is kept in the water while generating the heat....OK. We need to keep our trolling motors quiet while banging away our sonor units like a rock musician....Ok. And they are only $50, really

Are Yeti Coolers Worth The Money?
I bought a Pelican because it was a little cheaper than a Yeti. Works very well but is also heavy. It was worth the price to me.....

Never Second-Guess Lightning!
You do not want to be the tallest structure in the area. If stranded in a boat and can't get ashore at least get as low as possible and drop any fishing gear. If you can, find any shelter on the bank and stay under it, assuming it is not the only tree in the area. A boathouse or covered boat dock can be struck but is safer than a boat in the middle of the lake. Most times, when fishing in a boat, you can't eliminate the threat but do what you can to minimize it. Seek shelter.

Running On Gville
You may know this but, Guntersville can be pretty rough at times, I would allow extra time for rough water. And watch out for barge wake. You can't always see the barges, due to turns in the channel, but they can leave a huge wake that seems to linger for a long time. You can get some serious air time if you run up on a barges wake without warning. I speared one(actually about the third one) that took the trolling motor off the bow of my Champion.

Would You Buy This Boat
The dealers in my area have models of their bass boat line that they use for test rides. I was taken on a test ride in the almost exact boat that I ordered. After placing the order I used the test boat in two tournaments. All the dealers have them here but they are usually the 20 footers and loaded, top of the line

Hydrowave
I fished a tournament series in a boat that had one and could not tell any difference. We always ran it but who knows....I believe you could spend your money smarter to aid your fishing success. I prefer to see or feel results, jmho.

92 Stroker Questions
I don't know anything about them first hand but they have a reputation for speed and good rough water handling. Used to see them regularly around Lake Okeechobee which is the only area I have seen Big O boats and Stroker boats very often. I have no idea how they fish. A 92 model is probably narrower than current bass boat models(Ranger, Triton, etc), around 92in beam, with current boats around 95in, so may not fish quite as well as the newer boats, but should handle better. A 21' boat should fish pretty well regardless....
