Dumbest Or Most Silliest Things Said To You Or Heard While Fishing
A old man almost tackled me out of my kayak while I was about to paddle into a pond, and was screaming at me "This pond is for canoes only!"...I couldn't even believe what I heard.

Spy-Baiting
I was watching a couple of Youtube videos that were filmed in Japan and I saw a technique that I have never seen before in my life. The technique is called Spy-Baiting. I'm not too sure what it is besides that the objective is to make a jerk-bait look like a wounded and weak bait fish that has separated from the school. I was curious if any of you fellow anglers actually know what Spy-Baiting is and if you can provided me with more information on it. It would be greatly appreciated, thank you! Here is the link to the video if anyone is interested.

I actually live in Londonderry and fish all the time! Small world. Can't do too much right now while I'm away at college, but during the Spring I can show you some incredible spots.

Does anyone remember the video about Trophy Bass? It was a seminar setting and a man was speaking about what makes a trophy fish. It was a really great video and I am having trouble finding it. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

How To Know When To Move From A Spot Or Switch The Technique
All Of you guys have inspired me so much to take my fishing much more seriously. I will now analyze every situation I find myself in. I want to become a better angler and every response helps me out. I'm very happy to be part of a community that wants to help new bass fisherman as much as you do. I really appreciate the responses.

How To Know When To Move From A Spot Or Switch The Technique
How do you guys know when to switch the spot that your are fishing or completely switch up the technique. I could potentially be fishing the right spot with the wrong technique or I could be fishing the wrong spot with the right technique. How do you know when to change? Are there certain signs you look for or do you just operate on gut instinct?

Your Significant Other Fish?
The girlfriend is all about taking scenic photos from the kayak when I fish from another yak. Always nice to have her company on the water with me though.

What "tools" Do You Bring Out On The Water?
I'm finally taking my fishing very seriously now, and have been keeping a log book to try and get on some patterns eventually. I don't own a boat, so to keep a updated log of my fishing I have been bringing out much more "tools" in my kayak. I now carry a stream thermometer (super durable), Ambient Weather WM-2, which measures windspeed, temperature and windchill. I also have a compass to always check direction wind direction. Fortunately when I rig my kayak with a fish finder I won't need as much equipment, but I have to work with what I got for right now. I realize that I could always check conditions before I hit the water, but that doesn't help me when I want to know the exact conditions when I catch a fish. I'm curious if any of you fellow anglers bring any equipment like I do when you hit the water? Cheers & tight lines!

When To Use Certain Jigs? (General Question)
So I'm fairly new to bass fishing and I want to start using jigs. I've read the whole Jig Fishing Topics discussion and still haven't found a answer to my question. When would I use certain jigs over other jigs in certain situations? When would I use a football head jig over a swim jig or a casting jig over a swim jig? I can't find these answers anywhere and would really appreciate if you guys could give me the basic rundown on certain types of jigs and when to use them. It would be awesome! Have a nice day!

10 Lbers ?
Somebody had to bring that on ice from down south, unless that was nature creating a freak of nature. That fish had to run show in that pond hahaha.

10 Lbers ?
I know a couple spots in Southern NH that hold fat 6's and probably a 7 or 8 when they feed up or get super pregnant. I also have a couple spots that produce 5's on occasion. I'm not saying I know a holy grail honey hole, but I deff have a few spots I don't like telling people on my list of where I fish.
