No priming, no choking, and you don't even need to squeeze the fuel line bulb EVER. The boat has been meticulously maintained, winterized, and stored indoors. The bad: Boat has minor scratches consistent with the age of the boat, the skeg has a chunk missing from the front of it from the last owner trying to put the boat on trailer w/motor down (it does NOT affect performance or else I would've replaced it)

I caught 5 4lb smallies in 5 consecutive casts, on tubes in 11 fow

My dad kept a few bass to eat, 3 had eggs in them?? Anybody know why?

Bigger ones was coming in 11 fow during the middle of the day, when surface temps were around 65, they were biting on wind blown points

Well we cqught probably 100 smallies over the past 3 days the average was around 3.5 lb probably, most of them came on tubes..

I did yesterday and it was the first time in several years, cloudy, breezy, and perfect spinnerbait conditions, and notta thing, in my defense, i was fishing the worst lake in my state lol

Hey dwight are you fishing out of PA? And do you know the current water temp?

I use green pumkin, watermelon and brown curly tail grubs while wade fishing smallies. If the current is strong throw them out as far as you can and let the current work it down river just pop it every now and then, or swim them thru the water column. Thats about all i take with me when i go wade fishing that and a ron of jighead bc u lose a lot of them lol i take 1/4 &1/8 oz heads

Both but i dont venture too far out in the mainlake. When i was catching them up there earlier in the year, i was catching them on 1.5 squarebills, we was probably catching 40-50 small mouth and probably 80-100 largemouth a day, i dont know why they were there, but that stretch is about a 1/2 mile and they were absolutely all over it, i just trolled up and down the bank all day

Because i dont know the answer, ive never fished there that late in the year, i did however fish early april one year, and a 3 day trip we caught 4 fish.. im just trying to find out when they start moving up shallow there

I was up there in late june and middle of july this year and was slammin 4-5 lb smallies in 6 or less fow, surely there will be good smallie fishing in the same area at the end of this month

Thats not what i wanna hear, what time fo they start coming up shallow

Ive fished lake erie several times over the past few years, but towards the end of august im usually in hunting mode, My plan this year is to come up and fish the 25-28 of this month. Are the smallmouth up shallow and active at this time?

I got out last night, we caught 17 from 7-12 all shorties though. Caught most of mine on a green pumkin senko wacky rigged, my dad caught his on drop shot

Ive been fishing for 25 yrs and i catch tons of bass, the problem i have with one particular lake is, catching keeper size or quality bass in the summer. This lake i fish holds a tourney every friday night from 7-midnight. Now in the spring, actually up until 3 weeks ago i have got 4 1st place an 2 2nd place finishes. Well the past 3 weeks i havent put a keeper in the boat. Ive tried everything, drop shot deep water, cranks thru all depths, carolina rigs, jigs, split shot rigs, tubes, u name it and ive tried it, do you all have any suggestions?

Just got back from lake erie, the water temp was 70.9° and me and my buddy flat wore em out on a 1.5 squarebill, biggest was around 6lb

Haha same thing happened to ke on lake erie last weekend me and my buddy caught around 250 fish, 90% on 1.5 square bills, i wore a blister on my hand from the hooksets and my shoulder feels like its going to fall off.. Fish from the big lakes will surely wear you out. Im glad u had a good trip.

There are several no wake zones in the lake to fish without any waves. 1 of my fav spots are across from the campground theres a shallow flat that has grass on it, i catch tons of bass using a drop shot there. Another little stretch by the boat ramp by the cabins, theres a big flat there too and i catch them again on a drop shot. There are several different tunnels that u can go up in and its like having a little lake to yourself. Another area is to the right of the marina , probably a mile or so there 2 stump hollers both of which are no wake and they hold some big fish. This time of the year the rock walls are my goto place but they are out on the lake. They like watermeolon seed senkos and green pumpkin trick worms really well at this lake. And if your goin out at daylight throw a buzz bait, last yr i caught probably 75-100 fish one morning on a white buzz. Have fun theres plenty of fish over 5lbs in that lake and one a lil over 10 bc i caught him, n turned him loose
