  1. Yes, we will be there from the 23rd till the 30th.
  2. Save some for me when I get there ! lol.
  3. Most of my bigger bass came off a chatterbait. Iv'e caught them on a white/chart , black/blue and white all in the same ponds which is murky water. For trailers most of my fish were caught on a Berkley ripple shad 4'' swimbait or a Berkley Havoc sick fish swimbait.
  4. Iv'e known them by the name managuense and had them in fish tanks over the years. They were super aggressive and broke heaters while chasing goldfish.
  5. It's getting closer to that time. Does anyone have any recent reports on Toho or Istokpoga or any lake nearby? Knowing that bass spawn in stages what scenario do you think I'll have the last week of this month? Thanks for all the help.
  6. Terminator and Assassinator make nice spinnerbaits.
  7. I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully all these lakes are still on fire the last week of March.
  8. Can't wait to get down to the Kissimmee area next month. Everything is frozen here and not that great when it's not.
  9. It's interesting to hear varied opinions on when and where the new world record bass will be caught. I'm amongst the many that would like to have that record. I think a few places already mentioned has one now or could hold a record bass in due time. Whether it's a private lake with forage purposely stocked or not is hard to say.
  10. Thanks everyone for all the replies and the maps of the lake system. I have been looking at house rentals in the Kissimmee area for the last month or so and have a few in mind if they don't get snagged up before I make a choice. I had west Lake Toho as one of my original choices but I'll keep checking the catch reports in the next few weeks. The funny thing is I lived in southern Florida for 2 years in the 90's and rarely bass fished because I wasn't hooked then. I was an hour south of Lake O. I'm going to try some golf course ponds and community ponds aswell while I'm in the area.
  11. Would that mean Lake Toho or one of the many lakes in the Kissimee area? I need to stay in between Lake okeechobee and Lake Toho it seems so I'll be fairly close to all the lakes that were listed.
  12. Another one to add to the list lol.
  13. I'm going to need a month to fish all these hawg lakes lol. If time allows I'll try to fish a few of the lakes mentioned. The big O ,Lake Toho and Lake Istokpoga will be top priority until you guys give me more hawg havens to fish lol.
  14. My true goal is to catch a 10+ lber . Those are some nice fish being caught in the previous posts. Will much be any different say the last week of March compared to the action now?
  15. Thanks a ton for all the quick replies. Now I need to research a few things.
  16. Hmm, choices choices. Do you happen to know the closest airport to lake Istokpoga?
  17. I'm planning a late march bass fishing trip to Florida and was looking for some opinions on which lake might be better for a chance of bigger bass ( 10lber would be real nice). Thanks.
