Oh d**n,I spelled Mike's name wrong againLol.In my defense,i've ben sick since last Fri..with a nasty cold and blurry vision..

I just got my second order from Serbert.I ordered some swimjigs and chatterbaits..Man they look great.I talked with Mike on the phone,and he was a big help.It wasn't a big order,but he is really helpful.Thanks Mike.Now all I gota do,is get rid of this d**n cold,so I can go catch some bass with these jigs.

Our lakes and ponds in Delaware,aren't very deep.Most of them are about six feet.I don't see where the bass can find colder water.

I had some great Father's Days with my son and daughter,while they were young.But this year was the best.The day started out with my son,his son,my son's mom,and of course me.We spent five hours crabbing,with only one crab,being caught.Later on in the evening,my grandson wanted to go fishing,but he wanted the boat to go fast.lol.In Delaware,all ponds are no wake.So I took him on a tidal river.The tide was going out,I could see stumps sticking up in the main channel,so I ran the boat,about half open.But he was happy.My son threw his zara spook into some laydowns,and started walking it.I felt the boat rock,turned around,and watched him set the hooks on a nice bass.He hands the rod too my eight year old grandson,and the fight was on.Brett had his hands full,but he got her near the boat,and with his dad's help.the bass was boated.She weighed 4lbs.1oz.When Brett settled down,he asked me.Why didn't I strap him into the seat,like they do on saltwater boats.I just broke out laughing.Watching him with his dad,brought back fond memories,of my son and me years ago. http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz151/pizzaman24/photoMA40561083-0003.jpg Brett's 4lb bass http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz151/pizzaman24/photoMA40561084-0002.jpg Brett with his dad http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz151/pizzaman24/photoMA40561085-0001.jpg A smaller bass he caught.

I had my order in 3 days.I'm in Delaware

I caught my PB,back in the 80's,6lb even.I was nite fishing with dad on July 3rd.Caught her at 6am July 4th.

My dad grew up in IL.,met my mom when he was stationed at the Navy Base in Brooklyn NY.He settled in NY,mom and dad raised five kids,with me being the worst one.Dad and I had many fights,about me staying out late and coming home drunk.But dad did take us boys fishing in upstate NY.He took us fishing,camping and hunting.All of my friends dad's didn't do that,with their sons.Dad passed away in 1995,I didn't think it would bother me much.But I fell apart.I made Delaware's eight man team in the 80's.I called up dad,and thanked him for teaching me how too fish.I passed on to my son,what dad taught me,now he's passing it on to his son.Dad I love and miss you.

Their are days that I wanna go,but my knees won't let me.I didn't go at all this week,it's killing me.

I ordered a few packs of the Rage Bug,last week,and had them in two days.Tonite I talked with Mike on the phone.He helped me put together an order for some swimjigs and chatterbaits.Real nice guy to do business with.Thanks Mike.

Anyone using Serbert's swimjigs? How are they?I went to order some,but got confused.Do you make up your own swimjig?I'm not sure what to order,bands or no bands,not even sure what that means.I'd appericate any help.I use dirtyjigs swimjigs now,but Serbert's are cheaper.

By the time that I wake up,which is early,it takes awhile for my sinusus too get unclogged.It also takes time for my old knees to get lossen up, lol so I guess the evening into the nite,works for me.

I'll take a 8#,I know what a 6# feels like.Two more # would be hot.lol

A secret spot? I guess that you have not fished in Delaware.LOL.I'd share with somebody,if I had a secret spot.Fishing here can be tough,our small ponds and lakes gets a lot of pressure.So if I came upon a good spot,i'd make someone else happy.Just don't bring all your friends with you.

Was fishing with my son yesterday,he was twitching a worm under the surface.He was catching bass,but also pickeral.The pickeral would break his line.I'm thinking a wire leader might help,but not sure of the size,or will it affect the action of the worm?

It gets so bad on our ponds,you can almost walk on top of it.

Before I stopped fishing in the 80's,I did do a lot of night fishing.It was great.The ponds that don't get fish much,you need a small boat.My skeeter doesn't fit the bill.

I fish the ponds and lakes,here in Delaware.I live five minutes from three ponds.These ponds are fished hard,by others.I also fish other ponds,that are fished hard.I mean tourmants with lots of boats,every weekend,and then during the week,people are always fishing them.Our ponds and lakes are small.Some have fallen trees in them,lilly pads,and full of weeds.I can fish the shoreline for hrs,without getting a strike.Move into deeper water,same thing.I throw chatterbaits,jigs,swimjigs,senkos,wacky worms,cranks,you name it,I use it.I've down sized the size of lures,but it doesn't help.Soon we'll be getting into the hot days of summer,i'll be night fishing a lot.Is there a way that I can combat these heavly fished ponds?

Got to a local pond about 2pm yesterday,there was a truck parked and left on the ramp.We could see a small boat out on the water.My son called the town police,we waited,no cop showed.Last year while I was fishing,I became friends with this town's police chief.I have his cell number,so I called him.Of course he was out fishing,but he gave me another number to call.Meanwhile a state cop drove by,we flagged her down,told her the problem.She called the police station,and a cop was on his way.There was no way we could get a hold of this idiot on the pond.But his front license plate said,life member of slaughter beach fire dept.Yeah go figure.lolWell the cop called the fire house,they gave him the guy's cell number.He comes in talks with the cops,and reads the note I left on his windshile.It wasn't nasty,oh I thought about it lol.I just thanked him for blocking the ramp.He looks at me,i'm thinking ok just say one word.My son is 6'2'' 265lbs and worksout,so yeah go ahead,make my day.lolHe loads up his jon boat and leaves.Hey i'm thinking give him a ticket.What you guys think?
