  1. I so can't wait to have the NFL back on. Let this nightmare of Red Sox season end already.
  2. BIP back in the day had a "pay for launch" type deal you would buy a key for the season and have access to the launch. I have no idea if that is still in effect. It is worth a call tot hat number by the gate. Robinson I havent fished, Ottarnic I have spotty success, Nashua River is great you should give it another try. Granted I havent fished it in a few yrs, its a good spot. It is certainly possible that it ha slipped some since I last fished it. I know there is a decent number of people that fish from shore up on the other side of the golf course and literally trash the place and do not follow any limits or licenses.
  3. I recently started making jigs. I think it depends on what you are calling a jig. Is it a ball head jig with no paint and a premium hook, then yes 35-40cents is about right. If you are referring to a weed guard and a silicone skirt type skirt, I think its closer to +75 cents. Just saying what I have found, granted you can buy hooks in bulk but buying 1000 hooks for me and some friends isnt really practical for me.
  4. Lots of smaller lakes here in southern NH. You can try, Canobie Lake, Nashua River, Robinson Pond, Ottarnic pond, Pow wow river, Country pond(it does have some parking issues), and Big Island Pond. HTH tight lines...
  5. Well said deakNH03. Some real good info in that book. Gary takes a lot of time to get the reports down.Every fisherman in NH should have a copy of that book. With having a boat you will quickly find that there are allot of lakes in S. NH however getting access is an entirely different beast. Good luck with the boat.
  6. Oh Yeah! Have fun, enjoy it, it goes by to fast.
  7. This is your brain, this is what happens when you take bath salts, any questions.... :eh:
  8. Free throws Celtics 26-29, Heat 31-47. Game. Set. Match. I know the Celtics won't win, I just hope SA or OK wins in the Finals.
  9. Great work! I love the white crappie and the purple haze, that purple haze would work great on my home lake we have a population of landlocked alewife.
  10. Well after a closer inspection it looks like I must have did a number on the wiring harness. The ground wire was pretty damaged and was corroded pretty good. I cut out the damaged parts stripped, connected, heat shrinked them. Good as new, however the rear drivers side light unit has a number of LEDs that are out. I think it is still usable but will need to be replaced in the future if any more continue to go out.
  11. In February I went from Boston to Savannah through Atlanta. I brought my unspooled reels down spooled the line when I arrived and then brought the spooled reels back with me. I didn't run into too much of a problem, other than the fact I had to open up my carry on to let them have a look at the reels in Boston and in Atlanta. I hope this is helpful.
  12. Wow, glad no one was killed. The force to make a 1/2 ton truck into a "U" is impressive.
  13. Great Job Fish! Keep up the great work!
  14. Just thought some would like to know that this bill was sent too "Interim Study", which for all intended purposes means that it is dead for now. It can be added to another bill and can be brought back in 2013. Thanks for those that voiced their concerns and contacted their reps.
  15. Hey guys, I looked up both Captain Hooks and Shortys Hook Sales. Captain Hooks is by far the cheapest, however I dont really need 1000. The hooks I was looking for are the Gamakatsu 5941 5/0, Gamakatsu 614 4/0, and Gamakatsu 114 4/0. I found that the cheapest place in buying only 100 was lure parts online. Anyway thanks for the heads up on different places.
  16. Ok, so like the title says where are you guys going for jig hooks. I mainly use Gamakatsu so where are you finding are the best prices for hooks? Thanks...
  17. Yeah, I have the SeaSonic LEDs however they are loosing diodes on a rapid pace. It baffles me that they cant make a unit that would stay working. I like how the LEDs are 10x brighter than the bulbs and will last longer. I just cant get over that they still fail. Can't we make a light that will not stop working. I know its panned obsolescence, that they have designed these to not last forever. I just am not looking forward to getting them working again.
  18. Ohhh! How I hate you!
  19. Sad to see someone so young and talented. He will be missed.
  20. RIP, always had allot of respect for him and his game. Really is sad to see someone come to taking his own life.
  21. The Gamakatsu 5941 are a pretty beefy hook in the flat eye configuration.
  22. Where do you guys get your Bucktail at? Are you using real bucktail or imitation?
  23. Ugh! Boston what to say. My beloved Red Sox are in a wash of toilet water and are going down rather than trying to fight to get out of their tailspin/hangover from last years epic collapse. I was actually glad to see the game get rained out Sunday night to save them from any more embarrassment. They were up 9-1 in the 7th inning and end up losing the game 15-9, you cant get any lower than they are right now. I cant even pull for them they are so unlikeable.
  24. Thanks NBR, I hope more people follow your lead as this is a very important issue that would have dramatic effects on our wallets replacing the majority of terminal tackle. I also hope others follow your lead on this issue and do the same and voice their concerns.
