Try bouncing a gamehawg right into the bed they'll push it out of the way and about the 3rd time the fish gets mad enough they'll take it.

Is that what causes this? I have a hard time looking at any reel that isn't black or sliver, but it only applies to baitcast reels. You can put a black reel on any rod and it will look good.

Add frogs, topwater walking baits, and other tip down applications. I never really liked that rod for jigs or worms, mostly because I prefer a longer rod. If your looking for a good all around the Mojo Plastics has served me well. Since you have two short rods already, go longer and pair with a fast reel (7.1+).

Last I checked lights are required on your trailer also, just sayin!

I drove by there on my way back to KC and it should meet our purposes just fine. They said no problem getting power for boats. The cabins were old and they were doing repairs.

I just saw a photo from a buddy that went out on the White just below Beaver from last night with 55 carp laid on the the bank. No sizzle we are not going to shoot carp! final answer Are we going to do a group lodging or are we on our own?

So less than $50 each for both nights in the larger cabins? That's acceptable to me. Did they say what they wanted for a deposit?

I took an old friend out who wanted to go crappie fishing to Hillsdale, he hit a stump with his boat last week and wanted to go. We caught a few keepers but overall really slow for crappies, killed the whites though. I even saw one guy catch a largemouth. I came back to the ramp to find one of my lights on my trailer busted out and steel plated bent up, the dude did leave a note and filed a report. I talked to him and he said his wife cut the corner to tight and it was her first time parking the trailer. My trailer has what Ranger calls "road armor" but it's really just bed liner (I think). The bent up bracket is stout and made to stand on. Anyway, it's more of a repair than just bending the bracket back and replacing the plastic. I need to get an estimate and get it to the guy. Does anyone know of a shop that could do this work? Croft is the only one I can think of.

This is the time frame I'd like to be leaving town, pick up my boat down south and head to Arkansas. Still could get a good half day of fishing in. Whoa leaving real early. Almost not worth it to go to Arkansas fish for a day and a half. You're not going to be able to get down there until 9 or 10 on Friday. Might just need to meet us down there. Let us know what we need to do to secure lodging, would be best if one person could secure the rooms. Maybe they would let one person reserve and the others could call and and spread out the deposit. It's not real fair to have the reservation deposit for 10 guys on all on one guy.

I was just thinking last night we need to lock down lodging. River View looks cool too. What would stop you from running an extension cord out of the room. My opinion would be to stay close to the lake in a country setting in lieu of a city setting. Might be fun to get on the White. What is the schedule? Show up Friday leave Sunday?

So if nobody wants to go to the bars, Spider Creek is going to be the best option. When I was down there for work I found an all you can eat catfish and shrimp place just east of thorncrown chapel.
