  1. 6 or 7 would be great. I'll be there.
  2. Exactly. Don't take the route that says lonestar lake off of 56 or you'll be on gravel. 56 to 550 then come back east to the west ramp. It's a few more miles but no gravel.
  3. Can get there without driving on gravel, except the ramp road.
  4. 100.1? My hot tub is set @98. Warm water right there.
  5. Caught that 19" fish on a sweet beaver.
  6. I thought it was 5mph. Glad to know the limit is 10.
  7. He was going to order me a rod yesterday also since he didn't have what I wanted in stock.
  8. Stopped in at Mondo at lunch. Awesome place. They have the stuff you need/want and no gimmicks. He even sold me something that isn't available until September 4th.
  9. send me the specifics and I'll try and get a second to commit.
  10. I fished Lenexa two weeks ago and caught 14 in 2 hours, all 12" fish. There are some big fish in Lenexa, last year I'd catch atleast one 5 everytime I stayed well after dark. The small fish far outnumber the big fish though. I haven't fished it much this year, I just don't get the kayak out much since I got my new boat.
  11. I'm taking my 12yo niece out tomorrow morning, she loves to fish and keeps track of every fish she catches. She hasn't been on my boat yet, so I'm pretty excited. I know it's going to be tough, I'm thinking Olathe since it's close and small enough I can find some fish. Sound like a good choice?
  12. Knock on doors. Farm pond fishing is a good time. Many won't let you have access any longer for liability reasons and the drought may have hurt may of the smaller ponds. Oh, and remember to hide that Johnson County license plate.
  13. Pretend like your walleye fishing and you'll catch channel cats at hillsdale. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a lm bass caught out there.
  14. Didn't even know Mondo existed. Input on what's on what they carry could be interesting. Seems like I always need to go multiple places to restock.
  15. Tell me about Critzer. Not really interested in a report, but would like to know about access. I've heard it's really difficult to get to where you want, mostly from guys with big (21') boats. What size boat is ideal for that lake?
  16. New member here. I stumbled across this thread a couple of weeks ago and signed up yesterday. I posted an introduction in the appropriate section, check it out if you like. I live in Lenexa and work in OP. I might be interested in what is going on Thursday night, but can't this Thursday.
  17. I recently stumbled across these forums doing a search for a fishing report. I grew up in ND and have been fishing since I was a little kid. I'm kinda self taught when it comes to bass fishing and I'm most productive with a finesse plastics, but love to throw a frog. I like to kayak fish the smaller community lakes (mostly Lenexa) and state fishing lakes and recently purchased a bass boat (Ranger RT178 aluminum). My screen name doesn't have anything to do with the boat and I wasn't in the army, my bird dog (Ranger) and his habits early in his life contributed to the name. I hit the water once a week atleast and love just being out.
