  1. Spring is coming up and we are still looking at the garmins. Just wondering if you guys had them installed yet and what you guys think.
  2. I have never used anything diawa but I was just on gander mountains website and saw they had a diawa lexa flipping rod for 50% off and would be $50. Is this a good purchase? I would also get a $5 giftcard for the purchase haha.
  3. I own two duckett ghost rods and fished them all last season and have never had any problems with the guides. They're awesome rods for the money. I recommend them for sure.
  4. After researching, I found that generally people liked Powell endurance rods a lot. Being that their discontinued, I was just wondering what your guys' opinion is on them. Does any one have any experience with them? I'm looking for a spinnerbaits and Texas rig rod and have been looking at an inferno.
  5. I use their magic shad and have had great luck on em. I also use their hyper freaks and those helped me catch a lot of fish last year as well. After having luck on those I went on to buy a couple of their squarebills. Overall, I really like them and their products a lot.
  6. I use lake fork hyper freaks for my trailers. The hyper freaks alone have a lot of thump. They're my favorite
  7. Lucky! I have to wait for TW to ship mine
  8. I'm definitely thinking about picking up a couple of these but I'm not sure if I have a rod strong enough for them. With a price range going from $100-$150 give or take a bit, what would be a good rod to throw these?
  9. I have the worst case of cabin fever so I am planning on hitting the ponds as soon as the ice melts. I am planning on throwing a red craw red eye shad as well as grubs. Being that i havent done any early spring time fishin in the past, i was wondering what baits i need to get them to bite.
  10. I'm not sure how, but i seem to have lost the cap on my bass pro qualifier casting real that controls the tension. Does anyone know i would be able to get another? I would like to have a new one by April for when the ice finally melts.
  11. My buddy owns a couple of these rods and beleives that they are under rated and under priced. I own an utlralite combo from ugly stik for tout fishing as well and the thing is a beast. I know i dont have to worry about the rod breaking like the quantum ultralite i had bought beforehand which broke because of a bass. So i was wondering your guys' opinions on the matter.
  12. I am about 6-foot so i think im gonna go with kickstand and pick up a 7' mf my next paycheck.
  13. Okay well since everyone has nothing but good things to say about this rod what would be a good length if im using sqaurebills while fishing mostly in ponds and sometimes lakes from boat. And also what power rod?
  14. I saw these rods at my local bass pro for the first time and i was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them and whether i should consider one of them for squarebills.
  15. I went and i picked up some flicker shads stik-o's another z9r perch and a chatterbait. i totally forgot about the whole rod and reel trade in so im gonna go back sometime this week to do that and maybe pick up an arashi storm or two while im there.
  16. I was actually up at bass pro last night for the early sale and i checked those out and they were pretty sweet. i have a bunch of rods i dont use anymore which i am thinking of trading in to put into a carbonlite. Its a deal i dont think i could pass on.
  17. I am in the market for a new finesse rod for dropshotting and wacky rigging. I own a couple duckett ghost casting rods and i was wondering if i should get a spinning ghost or should i take my $100 elsewhere for a better rod for the money.
  18. I was just at a fishing expo this past weekend and saw squarebills by Baker Lures for the first time. They looked pretty good if you wanna give em a look see. Like i said it was my first time seeing them so im not sure how reliable they are but they sure were pretty realistic.
  19. Yeah man please let me know. I agree they were very easy to use and another thing i like is how you dont have to spend even more money on chips, the lakes are all preloaded. But yes let me know how they work out.
  20. The title is the fishfinder we were looking at.
  21. My family and I are in the market for a better fishfinder than the low grade fishfinder that came with our boat. We just recently went to a fishing show this past weekend and came across Garmins new line of fishfinders. I know Humminbird and Lowrance are popular brands so i was wondering how Garmin compared to them.
  22. Alrighty so after numerous trips to bass pro and several purchases on tackle warehouse, I cant take it anymore i need to go fishing. I have the Des Plaines river right down the street from me and its the only water around that isnt frozen. What am i throwing and is this even a good idea? tomorrows supposed to be near 40 degrees so i would like to try.
