  1. the reels are fine, rods are trash.
  2. Just got some Big Bite Baits chunks. Seem pretty good.
  3. Spinnerbait, Topwater, T-Rigs, Jerkbaits.
  4. Dropshot. Even in the worst conditions a dropshot puts fish in the boat
  5. Abu Black Max with a Old Clarus I paid nothing for. Even caught my pb using it.
  6. and if they don't poke me I get cut by the gill plate!
  7. I was pitching docks in a Marina and a guy accused me of trying to snag salmon.
  8. A Lews Lfs and some seaguar line. Along with some coin.
  9. lets hope! First time trying Powell, don't think I'll be disappointed!
  10. I was gonna pull the trigger on an indurance but wanted an open reel seat.
  11. Ordered myself a Max 3D 723 for finesse jigs and swim jigs Also ordered an Inferno 703 for Texas rigs and picking apart shoreline, was going to get two Max 3D's but wanted to see the difference in the two.
  12. I'm pretty sure it asked fav chunk, not favorite trailer.
  13. those rods aren't heavy at all. Have you ever fished one?
  14. 7' 3" heavy, ducketts run soft.
  15. Then I might go for the 300 size. Line wise, 20 or maybe even 30 pound braid with fluro/mono leaders.
  16. What techniques? Shaky head, Wacky rigging? As for suggestions I'm a fan of the Lews spinning reels. 200 or 300 would be ideal, I'd probably go for the 200. There are multiple models, the $40 one is bang for your buck. Good smooth drag and a 10 bearing system.
  17. I feel like it almost acts like sunglasses when underwater. When the sun hits clear line it gives off a glare under the water. The smoke mutes it a bit. Same concept with green line.
  18. I'd get like a 30 or 2500 sized reel and what do you plan on fishing with it? I'd put like 20 pound braid with varying leader sizes.
  19. Zoom super chunks.
  20. Stradic would be my choice. Drag is super smooth. And I like the looks of the stradic.
  21. Fly fishing for salmon and great lakes browns this fall was some of the most fun I've had fishing.
  22. Average largemouth - 2 to 3 pounds, Smallmouth - 1 to 3.5
