Centerpinning!
Centerpinning is to get a long efficient drift for steelhead fishing with a float, the centerpin spins backwards with the current letting line off of the reel with zero drag. There are a lot of videos out there, I'd suggest checking out the Consumate Sporstman. They make some great videos.

Centerpinning!
Looking into getting a centerpin, I think i'm going to get a Okuma Aventa. Seems like the best deal for a beginner, and probably going to get a Shimano Clarus Pin rod. Anyone have experience with Aventa's? Feel free to post any pictures of your Pin and some Chrome, i like pictures

Fenwick Hmg
I understand buying American but you gotta give other countries some credit, I have never had a problem with Chinese built rods.

Fenwick Hmg
Looking to pick up one of these over winter as a jig rod, how the sensitivity? Looking to maybe try another brand, still have an old Fenwick HMX and I was pleased with it.

St Croix Rods
I lean towards full cork but, not too big of a fan of the rather large fore grip on the Avid

St Croix Rods
I agree completely, if I get an Avid, would it be better to get an Avid X right away, you guys have me convinced!

St Croix Rods
Being only 15, and getting all the money myself it takes a LONG time to save up, it's tough spending that much money when I could get almost two rods for the price of one. The biggest problem with getting one is I'll want to replace my whole line up with them!

St Croix Rods
I now own three St. Croix rods, two Mojo bass and a premier, both series have treated me amazing and the sensitivity is great, but is it worth the money to get an Avid or LTB?

Spinnerbait / Chatterbait New Setup - Help/opinions
I love a short rod for spinnerbaits, I use a 6' 6" M St Croix Premier with a Speed Spool 6:4:1 and love it, the premier has a semi soft tip so it's great for reaction baits imo
