  1. My new pqr 1000H round baitcaster (just bought still in the plastic) has a 4 pin centrifugal breaking system. I have two breaks on. Well every time I cast it makes a weird noise coming from the pins but cast fine
  2. does anyone own a reel like this imo they are oldies but are very durable
  3. So I'm fishing a lake in Osceola Florida its just over a 1000 acres very small but challenging. I've used black and blue baits so far (pitboss and incredi-craw) anybody got experience with this lake? Any tips?
  4. Overall just actually fishing (friends family or tourny) im super accurate because I'm so focused on catching fish
  5. So when I go to fish by myself and i come along a small pocket in reeds or anything else Ill cast there at this point im focused on catching fish. But then I become focused on just being super accurate instead of catching fish. then the more I try the less accurate I become but the less I try (usually focusin on catching fish) the more accurate I become. Can anybody explain why this is? It confuses me and somewhat frustrates me
  6. Why would I use braid for texas rigs instead fluro and mono. I use braid for flipping and pitching and topwater.
  7. It cast amazing we'll see how it goes tomorrow I walker all the line out and then reeled back in and hope fully put it on tighter we'll see tomorrow
  8. Ya I checked that but it is im not sure what it is, It's brand new line
  9. Do yall have any ideas why it's 12 pound sufix siege and every hook set it digs into it self
  10. I wanna here yalls opinion my range from 3/16 to 3/8
  11. I'll use 3/16 oz 50 percent of the time all year round unless they have lock jaw then I'll rig up with s 3/8 oz tungsten but that's the highest weight I'll go with a texas rig anything bigger (1/2 oz) Then you mine as well be punching through mats!
  12. I figured for 8 dollars at a garage sale I couldn't lose. This is a very short fast action rod that has good back bone for hard hook sets. Does anyone know if this rod is good?
  13. When I'm at a pond and not on the lake I always throw parallel to the shore to avoid dead cast. With that being said when I'm pond fishing distance is not at all important except when once again I'm throwing to patches of grass or reeds I will throw from 20-30 feet away I'll try to get somewhere around the edge if not in the reeds. The bass have a 360 strike zone (when not activity feeding) also this is where we get crankbaits known as reaction baits that's why we throw something that throw off their lateral line (reaction baits)
  14. I want to here what yall think. To me distance is important when I'm throwing a crankbait, or the fish are getting pressured hard. I personally like to make short accurate cast (30' pin point) that's usually when I'm throwing to small patches of reeds or grass. but when I'm throwing off a ledge where they are stacked on, I feel as if distance is important if they're getting pressured hard. So I'll place myself about 50' off the ledge or point. So what I'm saying is in your opinion how important is distance to you?
  15. When Im not on the lake I'm at a pond. If you just an casual angler that isnt competitive then ponds are fun
  16. Thanks y'all my cousin wanted to use my account when he's over at my house (doesnt have a computer) he said he'll defintely work on accuracy!
  17. I'm talking about to reeds and patches of kissimee grass when I'm throwing a texas rig is being off by a a foot or two ok?
  18. Let me start by saying I've been fishing for a while and ever since i had first started I was more concerned about accuracy when I first used a baitcaster. I still today feel like I'm inaccurate with my Baitcaster (after 2 years) im always off by a few feet either to the left or a few feet short of my target. Does it really matter if I am a few feet off?
