  1. Sorry, they must have been too busy counting our seven national championships, our 13 Final Fours, 25 SEC tournament titles, or our 43 SEC regular season titles. That, or our all time wins. I wonder where Memphis ranks?
  2. Ah yes, UNC. A team with tradition that I respect. Great program, great fans, everything you could want in a basketball team. And they have more wins than almost everyone else, except one team. Wonder who that is... :
  3. Dude, the Jimmy Valvano "Never give up" speech makes me tear up every time.
  4. I always look forward to some fan from another school that wants to talk about tradition. In fact, it makes me giddy. You may have noticed I'm a bit of a basketball snob. 8-) I'd love to talk to a St. John's fan.
  5. This is the article that was posted on CBS Sportsline: It's been awhile since I highlighted the magnitude of Kentucky basketball. It's easy to forget in the offseason, when little is happening. But Monday offered a reminder in the form of an e-mail when the school announced tickets for Billy Gillispie's first official, unregulated practice will be available Sept. 29. The best part? Kentucky officials have asked that fans wishing to line up ahead of time to ensure seats please not do so until at least Sept. 26, meaning Kentucky officials expect fans will be lining up three days in advance to get tickets to a practice, and never mind that more than 23,000 seats will be available. Within hours, it's likely every ticket will be gone, which is truly a phenomenon unlike any other given how there are major universities that couldn't get 23,000 for a game if they were playing the No. 1 team in the nation. Meanwhile, the Wildcats will get more than 23,000 for a practice. On a Friday night. At 9 p.m. So yeah, Kentucky basketball fans are committed like no others. If you don't believe me, just head to the ticket office Sept. 26 and watch the line develop. http://www.sportsline.com/columns/weblogs/entry/parrish_thoughts
  6. Sorry bro. No way K-State owns Kansas.
  7. Thanks, I saw it on the website I go to alot- www.wildcatmaniacs.com and I loved it. There was an interesting link posted on there from cbs sportsline talking about how they were asking fans not to line up more than 3 days beforehand for practice. They're expecting 23,000 for the first practice alone. I always love it when people outside the state talk about how they know basketball and are fans. They have no idea. ;D
  8. I guess I could wait, but I'm not really into football and I am just WAY to fired up about the Billy Gillispie era to start in the bluegrass.
  9. Really? Those are the same colors you wore when you came to visit. ;D ;D Looks great, Robert. Do us proud.
  10. Is it too early to start talking about baketball? If not, then:
  11. Sorry about the rod, but at least you got cookies.
  12. I would like to personally thank Alex Smith and Vernon Davis to taking a giant crap all over my fantasy football season. Breakout year, my butt.
  13. Yeah, you really have two high powered offenses and two defenses that really have trouble stopping people. I'll probably tune in, but I'm really waiting for October.
  14. I am happy to see that Louisville fans have something to be happy about. I guess I would look for a different (if lesser) sport if I had realized my team would always play second fiddle. But two titles is nice. Probably even cute. Yes, cute. That's it. Louisville has a cute basketball program.
  15. Rattlin' Rapalas. I HATE the rat'l trap hooks.
  16. What's up with Barnes? Why did he start Leftwich in week 1? And KU, you got lucky that Brees had an uncommonly crappy performance.
  17. Congratulations! Way to go! It's a beautiful fish and those are some great pictures!
  18. To think that you posted on here before you called me really says something :'(. Sounds like we need to have a discussion on family pecking order. :'(
  19. Umm... Yeah... that was me that told you about the Senkos but I learned about them on the site. Congrats on the fish for you and your boy!
  20. The Saints are going to win this game. Too many offensive weapons and a revamped defense. You've got Deuce McAllister AND Reggie Bush going against the front 4 of Indy. Peyton and Co. will score some points, but I see a score of 27-24 with New Orleans making a statement.
  21. DITTO! Ditto Again. Ditto x's 3 Ditto some more! For the crankbait, I really like the rattlin Rapala. Hooks are better than the 'trap, and I think that there's a better presentation with the Rapala.
  22. Still looks like a great time. Makes me long for the days when I was younger.
  23. Looks like a great day!
