  1. Great job- wish we had smallies down here. :'(
  2. That's a beautiful smallmouth! Looks to be a beautiful reservoir!
  3. Clearly you've never had my cooking. But I'm not landlocked- I have the bounty of the ocean ahead of me. Bass cannot compare to dolphin, yellow tail snapper, grouper, or fresh tuna. Aside from that, I'm not keeping ANY of the fish from the freshwater here in South Florida :'(.
  4. So RR-WELL and I decided to visit my nemesis, Lake Osborne on Wednesday. We were just bank beating, but happened upon three good fish. It was extremely windy, but the 3/8 oz Strike King chatterbait was really working. I'm having trouble with my camera right now so I was only able to get this one picture for you so far. She was caught in about 4 feet of water, right near (about 3 inches down) the surface.
  5. RW, you just gave me new words to live by ;D.
  6. Congratulations!
  7. Nice fish! I am starting to become a HUGE believer in the chatterbait.
  8. I never keep bass. There are too many fish out there that taste better. Besides, how could I kill something that gives me that much fun?
  9. Agreed. I don't think he is a savior of the program, but he is definitely a great pick up for Gillispie. Definitely a shock that he didn't follow Lucas to Florida. But he did a heck of a marketing job setting himself for the NBA by getting his name out there.
  10. I love it, Russ! Great job again! ;D
  11. Never heard of it.
  12. The University of Kentucky has signed Patrick Patterson. Six weeks in and Gillispie has already completed a top ten class. The Empire is on its way back!
  13. I know you've read this, but be yourself. Have confidence in the person that you are. Don't sweat it if some chick doesn't dig you. If she can't see how awesome you are, believe me, you wouldn't want to hang with her anyway. Don't be embarassed about living with your grandparents. I have an amazing girlfriend right now that I met when I was down on I disagree. Finally, don't try to put a timeline on when you should meet some chick. It doesn't work that way. Invest your time in being the best person you can be and make yourself happy. She'll find her way to you.
  14. Kentucky basketball. I'm also a giant Star Wars nerd. Love to hunt. Also love going to the beach and seeing my ocean 8-).

Gotta agree with Burley here. I believe that far too many things are mandated at the national level. Let the states decide. And yes, I'm for concealed carry here in Florida.
  16. Ryan, you're in Weston, right? We're always having get togethers in West Palm and we're gonna do our next one in Dade or Broward county for peacocks. There's a lot of guys here on the site from South Florida. Take a look at the Southeast Region section of fishing. That's where you'll find alot of us. PM me sometime and we'll hook up.
  17. I just tried putting "meanmouth" on wikipedia. Are they a documented hybrid species?
  18. Spinnerbait Rattlin Rapala Senko 6" plastic lizard
  19. FishingFrenzy, I would invest about 5 bucks and buy a stringer to carry with you. This way you don't have to worry about killing the fish if you don't want to.
  20. I had no idea they had muskies in Virginia. Well done, Craw!
  21. It's okay. I won't tell anybody :.
  22. That's really great! Congrats on your Senko fish!
  23. Whatever. > To think that you'd put them before us. What nerve. :'( Did you take advantage of the lakes and ponds by the interstate like I was talking about?
  24. I take all the credit .
