  1. If I was in northern illinois and not fishing lake michigan?I always thought match the baitfish but I never see perch besides when I fish lake michigan. I ended up going with blue shiner. Match bluegills pretty much
  2. What color though? I can't seem to decide and I'm going to be getting the Jr. Size
  3. So I threw a 1/4th ounce lipless crankbait and was astonished at how far it flew. Just saying it pretty much made my day. In comparison to a bass pro qualifier, tatula any day of the week. Just my two cents.
  4. I cannot find these RTK models. I want a citrus shad and the foxy shad colors but I cannot find them anywhere. Checked multiple stores. Pearl moon or whatever is stocked to the brim however. Anyone know stores that carry them? I've tried dicks and walmart. I seen them before, just never thought about it till they were gone and only heard how good they were. I might try gander mountain today.
  5. In the original bag just all shoved into a big box lol
  6. I was going to try this out. I hope it works for you, I've heard great things.
  7. Climb that tree and beat that branch down. Nature isn't worth that 15 dollar lure.
  8. I use it like a spinnerbait, varying speeds and trailers depending on what works that day.
  9. I've heard consistantly about these cranks. I have a tackle warehouse order I'm about to make, what color do you think is great? I'm up north. I was thinking jelly bean.
  10. I have this little 2 inch popper that has been in my tackle box for years. No clue what it is. It is silver and black, looks similiar to a rebel just but 3d eyes and not that terrible looking scratched look. it has some like 3d holographic vibe to it. Other then that, rage tail shads. my god one of my favorite topwaiters hand down. Then the bluegill sexy dawg jr zara spook.
  11. That's what japan is good for
  12. I felt like I ruffled some feathers with this post over the wiggle warts. Those baits must be up on a pedestal or something. I notice a lot of things change but everyone complains about price. Honestly JDM products I believe shouldn't be bought in mass succession. Buy one, try it out see how you like it. it might be more successful it might not be. One day however, if the lures make it they are eventually going to be put on a wall somewhere. I think I'd prefer cool looking lures for conversational peices then dull ones just don't buy 5 because then you're breaking the bank.
  13. The older ones have a more erratic wobble like this one does. This is modeled after the old wiggle warts. Plus the old wiggle warts are like 20-200 bucks. Just stupid priced and these look better in my opinion. I'm just becoming a huge fan of jdm. Quality over quantity. How do you guys think it will preform on a baitcaster? Its 3:8ths ounce but it has that weight transfer system so it soars like all my other megabass lures.
  14. I just asked this today to my local tackle guys
  15. Sm-x spriggen. Has anyone ever used these lures? Lees has them for 20 bucks and I figure I already got a 20 dollar topwater, now I should get a different form of higher quality bait. It's a tie between this one and the new Raid lipless crankbait. The raid lv lipless, it sits like a imitating baitfish on the bottom. Just head down and tail up. This means techinquely you could hop it along the bottom. Just different action from everything else. http://www.carolinafishingtackle.com/store/RAID-JAPAN/LEVEL-VIB/RAID-JAPAN-Level-Vib-Counter-Blue-Back-Tiger.html Idk if the links will work, but hopefully they will. Anyone use these baits?
  16. Zoom makes a product like this. Ultravibe or something, has anyone tried? Plus you get 15 for a dollar less in comparison to the cut'r worm
  17. Bass pro has them in stock. I heard livetarget baitballs are just for looks so debating on what to grab with a giftcard. Any color you found to be excellent?
  18. Water just got de iced. Hopefully soon
  19. You're post makes me intrigued. But TW doesn't have these baits? Where could I pick up a pack in the north?
  20. Personally I'm seeing like livetarget cranks bluegill for 6 on website, and some lucky craft baits for like 6. Seems like pretty d**n good deals.
  21. Quick question, I bought finesse wide gap 3/0 hooks. These could be used for dropshotting right? Techniquely they are octopus hooks.
  22. Do you reel in these lipless crankbaits super slow?
